I suppose common decency and legal definitions boils down to judgement.

You should try it sometime..... it'll give you a backbone to stand up for right, the weak, those without a skirling bullying womanly voice demanding her rights above all else.

There is only 1 person involved in abortion, the pregnant woman. Why is that so difficult to understand.

And being personally pro-life does not mean women are against other women making their own mind up. Hence the fact that 2/3's of Americans support the legality of abortion and Roe v. Wade.

And all the moral pro-life women run out and get abortions when they have an unwanted pregnancy just exactly for the same reasons and at the same rate as all the women that are honest about abortion. Absolutely the only difference between the two sets of women is that pro-choice women are not lying hypocrites.

When pro-choice women are pregnant with an unwanted fetus they go to Planned Parenthood usually with the father or a family member who supports them. They get abortions.Their reasons are honest. They know they have done the right thing. When pro-life women are pregnant with an unwanted fetus they go to Planned Parenthood by themselves. They get abortions. Their reasons are honest and yet they lie about what they have done and they go back to calling pro-choice women immoral because they have "killed their babies". Just like they did.
 

All of that has been occurring since the beginning of time. Progress and the development of better communication technology has made us more aware of these problems and has allowed us to create avenues of help for families struggling with these ubiquitous social ills. And religious dogma has been on a steady decline since the Renaissance and the rate of decline is only increasing with better and more available education. What do you think will happen that will reverse this trend?
 

Family dysfunction among the working poor and poor can be laid right at the feet of the conservatives for having passed legislation that made assistance available only to single mothers.

There is no lease w/ pregnancy. The zygote forces itself on the woman by lowering her immune system so that her body does not reject it as foreign.

Legally speaking, the unborn are not yet persons, although some people wish them to be.

Ultimately though, the only opinion that matters is what the mother thinks. The rest of us should should take her lead. If she wants to call the unborn a baby, then so should we. If she doesn't, then we shouldn't.

I didn't say anything about apple trees or half pregnant. I said a zef is not a person. That is FACT.
 

Agree with the bolded but let's remember that a pregnant woman is not a mother until she gives birth. Until then, she's a pregnant woman but you're right, what she calls her unborn is her prerogative. Nobody should be correcting her.
