"The Promise" and "Meat Market"

So I'm considering buying these two books but first I was wondering if anyone here has read either of these books and could tell me about them. Regarding The Promise, I just want to know if it is unbiased or if it is basically a book saying Obama is the greatest President ever. Regarding "Meat Market", I was wondering how interesting it is because as an avid college football fan I'm always up to date with recruiting and such and I was wondering how far in depth the book goes in the recruiting process and again how interesting it is. Thanks.
