Dave Rubin started out on TYT as a supposed progressive. A gay progressive. Realizing there was no real money in the progressive movement (as it is not corrupt), he became a conservative-pretending-to-be-liberal who criticized the left. He became big enough to secure financing with Prager and I believe is now on Glenn Beck's network. He wrote a book called 'Don't Burn this Book' (attempting to lampoon the left's "cancel culture'), which no one bought or burned. Shortly thereafter, the right-wing began burning and banning books in droves, to which Rubin remains conveniently silent. Anyways, Rubin said that he he found the right-wing to be far more tolerant than the left; that they believe in 'live and let live'. How has that worked out?
Turns out that when the right-wing said they hated gays, and wanted to impose a constitutional ban on their relationships, they really meant it. I can't really think of anyone sadder than Rubin except perhaps Ted Cruz. Both are walking jokes who no one respects on either side of he ideological spectrum. They're just tools who sell their dignity to the highest bidder, because capitalism.
I couldn't imagine joining an ideological movement that hated my guts because they paid really well.
