i bet, and this is really sad, that a lot of their kids have disowned them/don't speak to them anymore/are embarrassed by them.

not all of course but when you have a role model/parent who falls for such an obvious con man (who is filled with so much hate and acts like a 12yo) then you can't help but be embarrassed. and then, as a kid, you start voiding your own parent's votes and eventually take over (which is EXACTLY what happened in the years and decades following the Civil War).

I remember the scandal (not the details). But I also think that she (or any other member of Congress) should be granted access. Even on short notice unless there is some real reason besides the shortness of the notice.

Congress people aren't Gods or even Kings and Queens although they want to think they are. They can't just come barging in like they are the FBI or Keystone cops at 4:30 in the morning. It was a political stunt to get this ugly witch ore notoriety that she is doing something. They want to make mail in voting a prime issue so they can contest the election because they KNOW Trump will win bigly.

How much notice does the Post Office need for anyone to come see the day to day operations of a facility? They had time to set out the caution tape to stop her.

Trump has made this an issue by claiming 'foul' without any evidence. Quit blaming others for what Trump does.

There was no oversight of this thief. If you are in charge of ordering things for Congress like laptops, cell phones, etc., what you do is get kickbacks from the people you give business to. IOW, if a laptop should cost a thousand, you get the supplier you are in cahoots with to invoice them at $1,500.00 and you get money under the table. In his case, he ALSO submitted invoices and strangely enough, the merchandise was nowhere to be found. It was his and Schultzes own little money racket and he was tracking other members of Congress. He was a crook and I think he shared his bounty with Ugly Wasserman Schultz.
