Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiyy and then-Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid on 26 November 2019.

4.8.22
Estonia's president between 2016 and 2021, Kersti Kaljulaid has been tipped as a front-runner to be the next secretary-general of NATO, in what would be the military alliance's first female head. She spoke to RFE/RL's Georgian Service from Tallinn, via Zoom, about Russia's invasion of Ukraine, where she called on NATO allies to give the Ukrainians as many weapons as they can and for sanctions on Russia to continue beyond a possible cease-fire.

Ms. Kaljulaid would make an excellent NATO Secretary-General.

Her full interview with RFE/RL is available at the link above.

In a sense, she is right if there is some sustained stiff-arming of Russia on every front--politically, economically, culturally. I'm talking about not buying their exports, telling their embassies to pack up and go home, telling their Olympic athletes, World Cup Team, etc... that they are not welcome.
