In Texas, we have a huge illegal immigrant problem being perpetuated by corporations that exploit cheap illegal immigrant labor at the cost of Taxpayers. According to the Federation for Immigration Reform (FAIR), “Texas’s [sic] illegal immigrant population is costing the state’s [TX’s] taxpayers more than $4.7 billion per year for education, medical care and incarceration...The annual fiscal burden amounts to about $725 per Texas household headed by a native-born resident.”* FAIR estimates that Illegals are costing Californians more than $10 Billion dollars annually.* Meanwhile, profits for big businesses in the agricultural, hospitality and construction industries increase as a result of this subsidized slave labor.

I think this problem can be solved charitably by giving each illegal Mexican Immigrant $450 and a bus ticket back to Mexico. With approximately 32,000,000 illegal immigrants, the total cash outlay for such a program would amount to about what Texans and Californians already pay, in one year, to subsidize illegal immigrant employees. As far as illegal alien wannabes, it should be made clear to the Mexican Government that any Mexican Patriots who sneak across the U.S. border in the future, will be treated as insurgents and sent to the Guantánamo Bayside Resort in Cuba for an indefinite vacation. The genius behind this last part is that when Mexican insurgents “escape” from Guantánamo, they won’t have to worry about putting forth any effort to assimilate into Cuba’s society, because Cubans already speak Spanish.

Oh, and by the way, the $15 billion to fund this repatriation program should be paid for with a windfall profit tax on oil companies. Even though oil companies haven’t really benefited from the subsidized slave labor of illegal immigrants, they have been screwing American motorists by manipulating the supply of refined petroleum products in order to increase their own profits. This truly could be a win-win situation for both illegal immigrants and American Taxpayers.
