After all, fact is fact and no matter the political bias, fact cannot be changed.

The reality is that I have read hundreds of your posts and have yet found any where you actually did what you are saying on this post.

Then of course, reality can be different from one person to the next. A person that does not believe in morals, ethics, principles and humanity can never be accused and found guilty of being immoral, unethical, unprincipled and inhumane because in his world those are not negatives.

Before any debate becomes a true debate, the playing field needs to be determined beforehand. Then again, I have no desire to talk or communicate with anyone that has no morals, ethics, principles or humanity. Perhaps those basics-of-life are not important to you. If they aren't, let me know and we can end all conversations between us in the future.

Communists have no God, therefore, "morals" is just a word they use.
It doesn't surprise me that most of you commies don't realise the dogma you post is actually Marxism.
After all, it was part of your indoctrination to deny any connection to communism.

1) Communists have no God
2) Communists have no morals
3) My dogma is Marxism?

  1. Marx said that religion is the opiate of the people. The Soviet Union and its satellite nations openly persecuted the church.
  2. You misquoted what was said in the previous quote, which stated that morals was just a word. The implication is that Marxists have no code of morality based on religious principles. Morality based on force and the threat of force we can clearly see.
  3. You clearly equate Marxism and communism. Most do. Are you self-identifying as Marxist?
  4. Again, your is used in the plural. He has you on the denying connection to communism.

Why should he prove points? You (singular) generally do not.

I'm not trying to shit on anyone, only trying to understand why someone who works at a food bank and uses their spare time to deliver meals to homeless people would be so uncompassionate and make it about socialism or whatever point you were trying to make in your OP about people who seek free food. Surely, if you are doing this three times a week you don't see them as lazy bums who are homeless just because you are there with a free meal?

Why don't you quit volunteering at a food bank if, according to your very own logic, those people would be working their butts off at a job if you weren't there with free food?

You did not answer the question but deflected.

Since you are down in the field of game (feeding poor people) but generally are against help services for the poor because you say that the poor take advantage (you OP), then you should have first hand knowledge. Tell us.............are the people you are helping to feed there to take advantage of the program? Are they lazy bums that could work but decide not to?

The purpose of the post was to point out the law of unintended consequences. If you tax capital, you get less investment and less economic growth. If you subsidize not working , you disincentivize working. Although some people don't work out of sheer laziness, I don't think that is a significant factor. It's not really a matter of laziness as much as it is human nature to take the easier path.(generality).
The idea that taxing the rich and redistributing it to the poor has no unintended (negative )consequences seems to be a foreign concept to many Democrats.

The place where I volunteer gives out bare subsistence so I doubt people aren't working because of that.
