This is directed at our Isreali friend for the most part, but I would like to welcome other's to participte. Please take me serious. Even though my questions may seem stupid or it may seem like I'm being sarcastic, I assure you that I am not.

In your opinion, what is all the fighting really about?

What do you think would be an equitable solution?

Why would it work/not work?

I think that the cause of all of this fighting has been lost. Now it is just trading of revenge for an ever increasing death toll.

The only solution i can see is to have such a strong world govornment (UN) that has the middle wast under such tight controle that at least no politicaly supported warfare will continue. The only way to stop terroris actions would be to have two very compatible Israeli and Palestinian govornments.

I don't this will work in the short turm because the chances of having either two compatible govornments or a stron UN are highly unlikely.
