As the liberals try to put a positive spin on the Obama record the British who understand Obamanomics first hand are starting to get it.

Fact is the Obama record is there for all to see but is being ignored

4 million fewer people employed today than in December 2008
3 million lost jobs since the stimulus was passed.
3 trillion added to the debt
Reduced incentive for private industry to grow and hire
Obama care which will further reduce incentive for business.

This isn't the change that most in this country envisioned and the polls today show that the majority are waking up.

Oh, so some blogger from the UK posted what you believe and that's good cause to start a thread titled "The Obama Meltdown"? Where's the meltdown?

The results support the blogger's claim and he has credibility because he understands Obama's economic plan after living it for decades. Facts seem to get in the way of your personal opinion as once again you attack the messenger and ignore the message.

I posted the very memorable Obama economic results that you ignored. Tell us exactly what economic policy Obama has passed that has made this country stronger economically? think having 16 million unemployed people is a good thing? How about a President that tells you one thing and does another? How about 3 trillion added to the debt in two years? Name for me any other President in U.S. history that had trillion dollar DEFICITS?

Unbelieveable, defend the indefensible at every turn.

I didn't say he was right or wrong. I said your post was mislabeled AND if it was THAT big of news, it would hit the front lines, not the blog-o-sphere.

Swear to God, Conservative, you could turn me into a Democrat. Are these not the most extraordinary times our country has faced since 1929?? Do you really think there's a quick fix for the mess we're in? Do you really think Obama could turn around the train on an 20-month dime? Nobody knows how to fix this. Oh, you may think you do; but your way won't turn the train on a dime either. We're in a mess. A big mess.

LOL, hit the front lines of the MSM? Now that might be the best line of the day. Facts don't seem to find their way into the MSM and it is the facts that should matter not the feelings. The results are there for all to see so why don't you think they aren't getting reported by the MSM?

Yes, I think the right economic policy would turn this around in a few months. Obama campaigned for the job, said he had the fix, was part of the Democrat Congress that helped create the mess and now is given a pass because it was a "bigger mess" than he realized? You buy that rhetoric? Obama has added 3 trillion to the debt, Obama policies have reduced employment by 4 million and added 3 million to the roles along with another million to the discouraged worker list. Things are worse and he made them worse.

Many have the answer but you and others are being prevented from hearing the solutions. Happy with the Obama record to date? What is it in the Obama policies that are going to change that record?

what i hear is alot of folks claiming they have the answer, but who speak in general terms, and fail to list specifics...much like candidates during election season....example...candidate A says ' i favor a balanced budget, and that will be the goal of my administration'....sounds good, i can support that, but how about specifics...say, exactly how would you balance that budget?...

I would cut the Federal Budget by over a trillion dollars. Here are the line items for expenses

Defense
International Affairs
Gen. Science, Space
Energy
Natural resources/env
Agriculture
Commerce
Transportation
Community Dev
Education/Train/Social
Health
Medicare
Income Security
Social Security
Veterans Benefits
Justice
General Govt.
Net Interest

I would keep Defense, VA Benefits, SS and Medicare although would cut them dramatically allowing people to invest their own money into a simple savings account, and I would service the debt thus the interest on the debt is a requirement. I would reduce foreign aid and charge every country for the cost of illegal immigrants who use our services at taxpayer expense. All other items would be reviewed and overhauled looking for duplication at the state level and only paying Federal Responsibility, i.e. interstate highways. I would take SS and Medicare OFF budget and put the contributions back where they belong. That would provide a great start.

Yep, and that is why I would never waste my time running. Learned a long time ago that doing the right thing isn't always popular. Our Founders believed in a small Central govt. whose role was to defend this country. The power was vested in the states and local communities. Compare that to today.

I'm a firm believer in not giving a **** what somebody that isn't American or is in another country has to say no matter what president or party we have. Most republicans could have given a **** what British said during the Bush years but now you do?

You also appear to be someone who would rather attack the messenger instead of addressing the message. Britain has had the Obama style economy for decades, they have Obama care and know the results of all that govt. spending on the economy. Suggest you pay closer attention to the message and compare that message to the current results today.

Seems a lot of people did buy the Britain message when it came from the leftwing sites there and passed that off as fact. Now however anyone that is critical of this empty suit has to be destroyed. That is typical liberalism and you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

You ought to read my message. I didn't give a **** what any other country said about mine 10 years ago and I don't give a **** now. Being American, I only care what other Americans say about America be it right or wrong. I have no opinion on the Brits and their politics, it's their own countries business.

Also why should I be ashamed? You ought to be ashamed of yourself for looking at what some foreigner has to say about YOUR country.

Again, you ignore the content, what exactly in that content is different from what Americans are saying that Obama supporters continue to ignore? The results are there for all to see yet anyone that speaks out against obama has to be destroyed. Being Patriotic doesn't mean allowing a President to destroy the foundation upon which our economy was built. Patriotic isn't apologizing for America on foreign soil either.

Now anytime you want to discuss the actual results of Obama let me know. You can catch up by reading the thread topic and notice the numbers I posted. Refute those numbers and tell me where I am wrong?

Did I say Obama? When we were getting rid of Saddam and France, Germany, etc was bitching at us for doing so (because then they couldnt get their oil deals from him) I was right with everyone else saying **** them I'm American and I care more about what Americans have to say than anyone else. Your entire post is based off of what someone from another country has to say and apparently that was your point, if you want to show me something written by someone in America I would be happy to give my opinion on what an American blogger said about American policy and politics.

Call me a nationalist or whatever the hell you want to call it, but my pride in my country blinds me to what any other country has to say about mine. Now will I want to steal their ideas? Sure because that's the American way.

Exactly. I used to get in altercations with people from around the globe because hey. So, when we're done putting American under the microscope, is your country next? I'm not giving YOU any Vaseline, either. Jerks.

4 million fewer people employed today than in December 2008
3 million lost jobs since the stimulus was passed.

Reduced incentive for private industry to grow and hire
Obama care which will further reduce incentive for business.

This isn't the change that most in this country envisioned and the polls today show that the majority are waking up.

The stunning decline of Barack Obama: 10 key reasons why the Obama presidency is in meltdown – Telegraph Blogs
although i don't believe his presidency is in meltdown, i do believe it's troubled. the economy is not recovering as quickly as hoped, we are still engaged in two wars, and obama has to fight tooth and nail for anything he wants passed.

it's also true he inherited a huge mess which we just beginning to feel the effects of when he took office, and he did not have a ton of experience. i would like to know why you posit that businesses have less incentive to hire........doesn't obama advocate a stimulus for small business? and isn't there a tax break for businesses to provide healthcare?

a key issue is the financial markets.....banks really don't want to lend money right now unless the loan will be very, very safe. if banks don't lend money, business is cramped. another issue is the "wait and see" syndrome........many businesses could hire, but they wait until more positive economic signs are apparent. a viscious cycle.

people with short memories forget that the republican hero reagan had quite a few problems as well....and they forget that obama inherited this god awful mess. and then they forget that reagan left bush no choice but to raise taxes. partisanship won't rebuild our country, and tax cuts are not appropriate at this point. the bush tax cuts never "paid for themselves". reaganomics has been thoroughly debunked. instead of pissing and moaning about obama......why not propose some well thought out ideas? i don't believe obama has faltered much on the economy, where i have isssues with him is the wars.

raise the limit on ss taxes (imperative)
raise taxes on high earners
bring back the estate tax
provide additional stimulus to business to hire and grow
expand the sba
get rid of rangel
focus on green energy
focus on waste and fraud.....provide incentive to employees who bring it forward. when some employees save their comnpany money, they are rewarded with a percentage of that savings. a great idea.
secure our borders
get out of iraq and now i think afghanistan as well.

It isn't patriotic to follow this President down the path towards the European socialist model nor is it patriotic to support this President's economic record.
