Many people didn't like the Bush Doctrine but at least he had one. His foreign policy was clearly laid out for the world to see and react to, they knew where we stood. Can anyone tell me the Obama Doctrine? It seems like he has no real plan, no real stance, nothing for the world to know what our policy is. It seems to me like Obama just kind of wings it and makes policy up as he goes along. He helps rebels take over Libya but did nothing in Syria when their was a real window of opportunity. He supports rebels in Egypt but when Iran faced a popular uprising he went golfing. Now that Syria is a war between the government and terrorist he decides to be Al Quiada's air force. The whole world is watching him and us and getting very nervous. Who is this man and what will he do or not do next?

Interesting that we know more about Putin than we know about Obama.

Crap, I saw a response to this thread and thought somebody was going to tell me what the Obama doctrine is.

If I knew, I would tell you. I'm still trying to figure out what his policy for the United States is.

When emotion drives the response to lifes challenges, a rudder and compass are unnecessary impediments to lifting a finger to the air.

Obama has a doctrine: Tell everyone, on every occasion, exactly what they think they want to hear without committing to anything, ever. If anything bad happens, blame someone else. If anything good happens, take credit.

The obama doctrine,

"Bush did it"
"Congress did it"
"Its the worlds fault"

Ah never mind just blame it on some video.

Clearly the obama doctrine is blame someone other than obama.

Positive Result: "It was me. All me. Praise me. I did it all."
Negative Result: "Who me? Nope. It was the one-armed bandit."
