The Nullification Party

the groups with the most obesity are the groups most likely to vote for the Democraps.
You're not serious are you?

why does the left have such a big problem with opposition?

pertaining to Clinton's impeachment.. why do lefties feel it's a bad thing to hold a person responsible for the crimes they commit?
all of congress should have "nullified " his presidency for the crimes he committed.... unfortunately, Democrats condoned his crimes and rewarded him.
Crimes?

Yeah. Right.

This isn't the playground, try to talk with more intellectual maturity than a 3rd grader.

its funny you whine about attacks on your beloved party and say nothing about infantile attacks on the GOP

Get ready for lots of recalls of tea party occupiers in Congress when they cause the default and a million Americans lose their job in the ensuing tea party recession.

no, YOU go get ready for these recalls... the rest of already know it won't happen.

there will be no recalls of any congresscritters....there is no constitutional mechanism to do so.

Gee, I don't know

Ok, so then I can call the democrat party a bunch of skinny black people? Who let the Clintons and Harry Reid in that gang then?

THey too were Democrats, IIRC. More proof that Excon's comment in post 2 was silly.

Pearce was no Democrat, and neither were Paul Scott in Michigan, Dan Kanapke, and Randy Hooper in Wisconsin in 2011. Both parties use recalls just like other legitimate tool - whenever they can. (In the case of Pearce, it was rather libertarian and moderate Republicans against the Republican SB1070 crowd).

Can't you read stats? There are 53% whites in the D party and only 19% Black.

Your first racist post implied that republicans are nothing but fat white guys. So, now you're saying democrats are fat white guys too?

Hmm....I guess that means blacks aren't represented by either, huh?

Not as fat as the group that voted 96% for Obama. And plenty of poor and lower middle class whites vote Dem. Unionistas for example. but the group most likely to vote dem is most likely to be obese

so whining about fat republicans is pretty stupid

Moderator's Warning:
Do not attack people folks. The consequences are not pretty....

Fat guys was in reference to the new confederates. You missed a few posts, obviously.

The only successful recall I know of was when the GOP recalled the California Governor, a Democrat.

Thanks for making my case.

It's not for lack of trying, the left just sucks at it. The problem is they can't pay their supporters enough to show up on time, or if the weather is bad, or if there is a new episode of Spongebob on. Remember a few weeks ago when there was a "rally" demanding $15 an hour for burger flippers and fry technicians? The people protesting left before noon because it was hot outside.

When they can't get their way, meaning when the GOP loses an election, they race to delegitimize the winners. They did it with Clinton, going so far as to impeach him after he won reelection by destroying that old fart, Bob Dole, who lost because he had no personality and no cohesive campaign back in 1996. They did it again after Obama routed another old fart, back in '08, when both Houses of Congress also went against them.

Remember the Tea Party protests of 2010 and the "Party of no"? Those fools acted like the world was coming to an end. Biggest bunch of sore losers I ever witnessed.

And, now, after another ass-beating in yet another reelection campaign, and after losing Senate seats in traditionally red states like Indiana and Missouri, the GOP is once again acting like a spoiled child, this time basically holding it's breath and watching the country turn blue.

They simply cannot abide by seeing a majority disagreeing with them politically. They simply cannot respect the opposition. If they win, they govern as if the opposition does not exist. If the opposition wins, they batten down the hatches and refuse to cooperate in any way shape or form. They are the nullification party.

The Nullification Party « The Dish

So, when the Democratic legislators of Wisconsin outran the state police to flee the state in order to stop a scheduled vote from taking place, that was just plain heroism, right?

No. That was stupid.

The Left definitely lacks an army of people with conviction. The Right has that.

The Right also has a powerful message machine that keeps everyone on point. The Left...well, they had OWS. And, to this day, few people if any know what that was even about.

No. That was stupid.

And it was exactly the kind of "nullification" you're decrying here.

You didn't have to start a thread saying it's a Republican thing only (as you do when you call it "The Nullification Party"), but you did.

Hmmm. How about going to the courts to impose same-sex marriage judicially when it's defeated at the polls every single time? Did the Republicans spearhead that?

Wisconsin is not he US. Big difference.

Gay marriage in the courts has nothing to do with Democrats. It's a judicial matter.

You didn't say anything about "the US." You said "party." So it's OK to "nullify" when things don't go your way if it's at the state level? That's your play?

Riiiiiiiiight. But that's not what I asked -- was it the Republicans who did that?
