This is a series of four novellas (about 160 pages each) and is a sci-fi story.

It is the 1st person story of Murderbot, a SecUnit (security unit) cyborg with a hacked governor so that it doesn't have to obey the humans it is contracted to work for. It seems this particular SecUnit also had a malfunction and killed a bunch of people. Murderbot doesn't like humans, mostly because it doesn't understand emotions, and particularly doesn't like cleaning up after the mistakes humans make. It would much rather watch TV. This makes for a fun dark comedy about what Murderbot does, why it does it, and the malfunction that it is trying to figure out how and why it happened. Even if you're not a sci-fi fan it is fun read as Murderbot has a dark and sarcastic sense of humor.

The novellas, in order, are:

1) All Systems Red

2) Artificial Condition

3) Rogue Protocol

4) Exit Strategy.

All are written by Martha Wells.

And if you like those there should be more coming... in 2020. So you got time for a sandwich.
