Anyone see this? Really good film, a good human spirit movie if there ever was one. It chornicles a young Che Guevara's ride with a friend through South America. You can see how events during this trip influenced his political thought and actions later in life. The degradation and poverty that he saw was particularly harrowing to this young man. I'm thinking of purchasing the DVD for my in home collection.

Very good movie, and very true to the actual diaries, of which I own a copy. The constant crashing of their motorcycle was quite funny, and the events that are shown are very moving. Good balance of humor, wit, and moving ideas, much like Che himself. All in all a great movie that wasn't made to sell T-shirts or make big bucks.

Any suprise it's foreign made?

I just saw this. I really liked it. I'm not too familiar with the history of Che Guevera and I'm not really a socialist but this movie made me want to learn more about him. Thanks for the recomendation.
