Appeals court says White House visitor logs can be kept from public | WashingtonExaminer.com

President Obama and his successors in the Oval Office are not obligated to make public the names of individuals visiting the White House, according to a decision of the federal Circuit Court for the District of Columbia made public Friday.

The case was brought by Judicial Watch, the government watchdog nonprofit that has been fighting a long legal battle seeking to force release of the White House visitor logs as public records under the Freedom of Information Act.

But in a decision that is drawing intense criticism from across the ideological spectrum, the circuit court said the president has a "constitutional perogative" not to tell the American people who he or his staff meets with in the White House....

Wait a minute..the white house belongs to the american people not to dear leader.
It most certainly IS our right to know...

Remember this lie?

"When there is a bill that ends up on my desk as president, you will have five days to look online and find out what's in it before I sign it."

Must be a slow day for the rightwing noise machine. They had to issue this vapid meme for the minions to propagate today.

Hi agitator! How's it going? Making your daily rounds of sites shilling for the admin and chattering the standard insults and the talking points you're fed by your handlers, I see.

Ever notice how every single person who they chose to list in the most recent records, left the White House at 23:59?

Every single person, no matter when they entered, left at 23:59.

Richard Trumka, all those times he was at the White House between 1/1/13, and @ 5/31/13, no matter what time he entered, he is shown as leaving at 23:59.

Now that's some transparent bookkeeping in the peoples house!

You know that record is all smoke & mirrors right.

I downloaded the whole excel file earlier and tried to filter for various names. . . Eric Cantor apparently visited as much as Harry Reid.

Also, 2359 is the end of the day. They apparently just log that the appointment ends at the end of the day. Again, not that it matters because it's all just smoke and mirrors.
