Aside from the Iraq invasion...
Which had nothing to do with oil.
Aside from the Iraq invasion...
Yes, indifference.
Yes, that's what I said. We are all indifferent to these people you claim are leaders.
Ignore them if you wish, but they are the recognized leaders of green energy.
Repeating the claim over and over doesn't make me believe it. Evidence would do that.
Which had nothing to do with oil.
Bush family and key Bush Administration officials (Cheney in particular) has ties to big Oil, this is common knowledge.
Oil had nothing whatsoever to do with the decision to invade Iraq.
Oil reserves in Iraq are considered the world’s fifth-largest proven oil reserves, with 140 billion barrels.[1][2]
According to General Tommy Franks, there were eight objectives of the invasion, "First, ending the regime of Saddam Hussein. Second, to identify, isolate, and eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. Third, to search for, to capture, and to drive out terrorists from that country. Fourth, to collect such intelligence as we can relate to terrorist networks. Fifth, to collect such intelligence as we can relate to the global network of illicit weapons of mass destruction. Sixth, to end sanctions and to immediately deliver humanitarian support to the displaced and to many needy Iraqi citizens. Seventh, to secure Iraq's oil fields and resources, which belong to the Iraqi people. And last, to help the Iraqi people create conditions for a transition to a representative self-government."[124]
With the capture of Saddam and a drop in the number of insurgent attacks, some concluded the multinational forces were prevailing in the fight against the insurgency. The provisional government began training the new Iraqi security forces intended to police the country, and the United States promised over $20 billion in reconstruction money in the form of credit against Iraq's future oil revenues. Oil revenue was also used for rebuilding schools and for work on the electrical and refining infrastructure.
Already provided. They are movement leaders in a way Imhofe is not and never will be. Your position is denial.
You're ****ting me.

Iraq War - 2003: Invasion (3rd Paragraph)
It may not have been the primary reason for the invasion, but to say oil had "nothing whatsoever to do" with the Iraq invasion is absurd.
You provided evidence they said those things, not that they are "widely recognized leaders." I don't recognize them.
Oil was part of the reconstruction plan, but had nothing whatsoever to do with the invasion.
That has been proven false, particularly with the General's comments about oil appropriation being #7 of 8 mission objectives regarding the invasion of Iraq.
Oil was part of the reconstruction plan, but had nothing whatsoever to do with the invasion.
