Excellent analysis which gives 5 ways this war could go, some disasterous, some not so disasterous.

So which way do you think it will go? I think it will be option 2, in which a multinational force establises a buffer zone in southern Lebanon.

I agree option 2 is most likely.

I do see option 3 as a high possibility if Hezbollah militia and allies gets bold enough to attack Israel from all sides.
 
I hope it is option 2. Hezbollah needs to be destroyed, but we do not need a big mess. If we can some european countries to help with the peacekeeping mission, that would be a great gain for Israel, and us.
