Nope, not just a slogan. Several major cities severely cut the budgets of their law enforcement agencies. Add to that the fact that they gave their officer absolutely no backing from the city or department and you had droves of officers either retiring early or just flat quitting departments. These same government officials (oh, so wise in their all knowing ways) were then amazed that crime rates went through the roof. Then they decided to blame it on the police departments. (Is the logic starting to hit you yet?). Just look to Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Oakland and Baltimore. Fine examples of quality leadership. Man, oh man. We need to do some serious common sense voting in 2022!
