During Katrina the media did Yoeman service They were very important in helping and getting information out . In their coverage of Rita especialy afterwards its as if they were dissappointed that it wasn't a bigger disaster. it was aw shucks no major damge or catastrophies. they hunted for the worst information possible. All the stations acted that way.

My favorite portray the media has done was to have to make Katrina, sound like a girl went on a rampage! Using words like "Killer" and "Victim". I would thought it was the summer of sam, nope just a hurricane! Then the media quickly withdrew itself from its own topic, then to exploit the storm to promote thier own political propaganda!
