The meaning of life.

China will eventually have to deal with the rise of Islamism (actually, they've already started by oppressing the Uighurs).

Either way, it's lose-lose for the rest of us.
Oppression?
systematic rape(...)sexually abused, and tortured,(...) mass rape(...) mass surveillance, detention, indoctrination, and even forced sterilisation.(...) women were removed from the cells "every night" and raped by one or more masked Chinese men. She said she was tortured and later gang-raped on three occasions, each time by two or three men.(...) who said she was forced to strip Uighur women naked and handcuff them, before leaving them alone with Chinese men. (...) Asked if there was a system of organised rape, she said: "Yes, rape." (...) Some of the women who were taken away from the cells at night were never returned (...) The camp guards pulled off the woman's headscarf, Ziawudun said, and shouted at her for wearing a long dress - one of a list of religious expressions that became arrestable offences for Uighurs that year.(...) She said, 'Yes, the rape has become a culture. It is gang rape and the Chinese police not only rape them but also electrocute them. They are subject to horrific torture.'" (...) There were "four kinds of electric shock", Sedik said - "the chair, the glove, the helmet, and anal rape with a stick". (...) "After that, in front of everyone, the police took turns to rape her," Sauytbay said. "While carrying out this test, they watched people closely and picked out anyone who resisted, clenched their fists, closed their eyes, or looked away, and took them for punishment." (...) They had an electric stick, I didn't know what it was, and it was pushed inside my genital tract, torturing me with an electric shock."(...)underwent unexplained medical tests, took pills, and were forcibly injected every 15 days with a "vaccine" that brought on nausea and numbness. (...) Women were forcibly fitted with IUDs or sterilised, Ziawudun said, including a woman who was just about 20 years old. (....)"They don't only rape but also bite all over your body, you don't know if they are human or animal," (...) "I've experienced that three times. And it is not just one person who torments you, not just one predator. Each time they were two or three men."
Oppression is not the word. It's called genocide and many other things. The word oppression is just your attempt to ignore what is happening.

China will crush the Islamists. Just like they do all opposition. Their "Belt and Road' program spreads through other countries by taking care of the ruling elite and letting them crack down on their own opposition in any manner they like. We ain't talking democracy here, folks.

The Islamists vs the Chinese is a little like watching one of those "Alien vs. Predator" movies, or maybe "King Kong vs. Godzilla" (except I think King Kong is supposed to be one of the good guys). Scary!

You must mean the Uighurs. Yes, they are attempting genocide.
Only thing you're missing is, the Uighurs aren't an "opposition", they're just people.

Do you have sympathy for the Uighurs? You have so far refused to express sympathy for any people being killed by Islamists. Are you only concerned when Muslims are being killed?

Oppression?

Yes, all of that is awful. They don't deserve that just because they're Muslims.

Much like how ISIS treated the Yazidis. Do you have the same concern for them?

You obviously don't understand the Chinese Communist Party perspective; Ughars are the opposition, and will be crushed. The CCP has been remarkedly consistent over the years; if you're not for us you're against us.

The Ughars will be re-educated, and those that survive will support the CCP. No other outcome is possible. If it means genocide, it means genocide. Ideology is what matters, not human life. If religion is seen as a competitor to ideology, then religion will be suppressed, whether it be Islam or Christianity.
