The Loss of Trust

I'm neutral, but I've read over the years that Sensenbrenner was the author of PA.

You're right though, that Congress rejected identical provisions in April 2001. Amazing what a false flag operation mixed with a bit of anthrax dust mailed to congresscritters can accomplish, eh? ;)
 
Under the Obama administration the size of government keeps increasing and is indeed out of control, run by bureaucrats who lies to the people to protect the evil doers. Obama, like Lyndon and Nixon, has squanders his credibility. One thing he has accomplished is bringing to the fore font, how diligent we have to become to ward off again total government corruption.

Casper the Ghost could be President, and things would be going pretty much the way they are going now. Government is controlled from behind the scenes, by what Ike called the Military Industrial Complex, and Wall Street is very much an active player in that.

War is good for business. Getting rid of constitutional governance helps industry. Crony capitalism rules this country.
 
The trust between government and the people is fragile. Obama uses rhetoric to hide his deeds. His hope and change hasn't delivered the goods. He has created a crisis of confidence in the nation. What about Fast and Furious, Benghazi, and the IRS? The reality is that the majority of the people don’t trust President Obama.
 
The issue over the NSA program has been overblown. The data they are accessing is actually generated by the phone companies, who have been recording the same information almost since the day one. They do it to bill their customers for the services they use. The phone companies have been providing the NSA the service records without any customer information.

The issue of trust is not over what data is collected, since data is objective and neutral by itself, but how it gets used. The Obama administration has created and fosters an environment in which is acceptable for his supporters to use the regulatory and law enforcement powers of the government to harass and intimidate political opposition.
