The AP Ipsos poll has come out, and given Bush his lowest ratings ever, but that is not the worst news for the GOP. Congress scores even lower marks, with voters putting almost all the blame on Republicans. Says GOP pollster Tony Fabrizio "The good news is Democrats don't have much of a plan. The bad news is they may not need one."

What does this all mean? It means that there are about to be 2 irrelevant political parties in America, and they are both major parties. So who to vote for in 2006 and 2008? I have an idea. Flip a coin. Its either that or put America first and vote for every third party and independent candidate on the ballot.

Article is here.

Why not just vote "policies" instead of "parties"?

Because the policies of both the Democrats and Republicans have failed us. The partywhores, if I may call them that (both Democrat and Republican), put their own petty agendas ahead of that of the American people.

Well, I'm voting for the guy, or gal, who most matches my views. The candidate who is more like me, which is getting harder to find these days. If Bill Nelson (D-FL) was running for pres, he'd get my vote.

Well say what you want about Bush.

At least he has never had an affair with an intern.

That you're absolutely right. Clinton had a blowjob or two in the oval office and lied about it.
Bush on the other hand lies about
  1. Plame case
  2. Case for Iraq
  3. Katrina
  4. Not knowing about eminent attack
  5. all science
How I see it it's 5:1 with regards to lies and deception.

What happened to the democrats in 1994? They lost congress.
What happened to the democrats in 1980? They lost the presidency and the senate.
What happened to the republicans in 1932? They lost the presidency and congress for a generation.

I'd say 1932 comes close to an implosion, but true implosions in American history are the Whigs and the Federalists.

None of the examples listed above have happened to the Republican party yet. Elections matter, polls do not. We'll see about this implosion in November. The republicans may lose seats, but it still looks like they'll hold congress. If that's the case, I wouldn't characterize it as an implosion.

Can you imagine if you were ever able to prove these allegations. Man, you guys could have Bush's head on a stick. How's the impeachment coming?

Lets ask,

1. Now we are seeing phase II of the Liberal media's Plume story.
2. Iraq is legit military action, do some research, if you don't know why we went into Iraq.
3. Liberal's were and are in charge of New Orleans, did I miss something here???
4. If America knew about the 911 plan it would of been halted. Anti Aircraft weapons would of been in place on top of the Twin Towers if we only knew as a last resort.
5. Stem cells, research leads to baby brain cell research.

Guess in the world of KCcon these instances are mere rumor. IN the rest of the world however, every single one of these points have been prooven. Sorry to bust your neo-conservative balls KC but those 4 points along with your beloved Tom Delay and Jack Abramoff are all going down. The GOP is self-imploding. I guess all there is left to say is :neener

You're right, it's a total lie of the liberal media alone. Let's see what Fox news has to say about it? Seems like the same thing.

I see, so information released to the public was not in any little way deceptive. Oh and about the planned attack on March 10, that's just coincidence with what actually happened right?

yeah you missed something big, it's called FEMA. Let's not forget the white house coming out and saying they had "no prior knowledge that the levees would fail". Seems like republicans have issue with taped sessions. Keep forgetting to turn it off.

Right, we'd no idea, there were no intelligence briefs about it.

:sarcasticclapI love how ppl with absolutely no knowledge of science try to sound scientific and making complete fools of themselves.

Lets ask:
It depends upon which lie you believe:

1. Iraq had some connection to 911
2. Saddam Hussein was somehow connected to 911
3. Saddam Hussein had WMD
4. We went there to get rid of Saddam Hussein all along
5. We would be greeted as Liberators
6. It had nothing to do with Rumsfield/Cheney/Roves plan to invade Iraq for the past decade.
7...And whatever the next one this administration will come up with....God only knows.

I'm well aware of the scandals. They are not rumors and I never said they were. However, until you and someone can prove all the allegationf lying, your rants mean nothing.

The Delay and Abramoff issues are not what you were alleging earlier. I think they will go down also.

But now back to your 4 points. Again I say, if you are ever able to make stick these allegations that Bush lies about everything, you'll most certainly have a case. Keep us posted.

Well, we most certainly will won't we. In the mean time, kick back and have a beer and let's watch where the guillotine falls.

Don't you find this really depressing though? I mean glad as I am that ppl are realizing that fundamentalist GOP members are decietful and pathetic. However I find it lame that its because of the failure of the GOP that results in the Dems seeming more favorable. I don't understand why it is that we must always choose between the lesser of the two evils as opposed to the better of the two greats. Quite depressing really.

Because it has come down to "Vote for me, I'm not as bad as the other guy." Again, instead of finding the fault on the other side, why can't a politician step up and give us his/her alternatives and solutions? You can thank Michael Moore and Al Franken to start. Have you ever visited the Barbra Steisand website. It's fascinating. Hardly anything about her singing career. Just pages and pages of political hate.

I actually happen to agree with you here. I better wake up.

KC, I'm looking forward to the day you finally realize your on a sinking ship but its too late to get off! Here's some of that proof.

The new account of the interactions among Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney and Mr. Libby was spelled out last week in a court filing by Patrick J. Fitzgerald, the special prosecutor in the C.I.A. leak case. It adds considerably to a picture of an administration in some disarray as the failure to discover illicit weapons in Iraq had undermined the central rationale for the American invasion in March 2003.

Against the backdrop of what has previously been disclosed, the court filing sheds particular light on how Mr. Bush and some of his top deputies had begun to pull in different directions. Even as some officials, including Colin L. Powell, then secretary of state, started to reveal deep doubts that Mr. Hussein had sought uranium to reconstitute his nuclear program, Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney and Mr. Libby were seeking to disseminate information suggesting that they had acted on credible intelligence, while not discussing their actions with other top aides.

I look at it as part of an overall process. And as soon as the Democrats get put back in power, we put their feet to the fire. I'm sure at that point, neo's will come up with everything under the sun that a Democratic Administration is doing wrong. We weed out the bullshit, then support what is valid. Whomever is in power has got to held accountable for their decisions. Right now, it's the neo's that are in the hot seat. Next up, it will be Hillary's turn to feel the heat. And so on and so on. Who knows, maybe one day we will get our country back.

So who on the Democratic side would you like to see run for President? Do you have a favorite?
