Sure we can not have a Philosophical debate on this topic since we live in a sick sad world based on lies and deceit. :lamo
But let's give it a try.

The first people, or human beings, appeared on Earth some 200,000 years ago on the plains of Sub-Saharan Africa. All modern humans belong to the species known as Homo sapiens that evolved from earlier species of hominids.

Well this can't be common belief can it? Because that would make one question the time line of the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran.
But we can all agree Africa was the 1st place humans were born or something created?

Human evolution is the evolutionary process that led to the emergence of anatomically modern humans, beginning with the evolutionary history of primates – in particular genus Homo – and leading to the emergence of Homo sapiens?

The history of the world (or world history) describes the history of humanity (or human history) as determined by the study of archaeological and written records. Ancient recorded history begins with the invention of writing. However, the roots of civilization reach back to the earliest introduction of primitive technology and culture.

Because of culture the human race is more divide today then at any other time in our history.

And that's why you get this.

So what facts anymore?

Anyone interested in facts should read the utterly brilliant most excellent "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" by Juval Noah Harari. On my personal 'best books I've ever read' shortlist. I'm sure a sample of Harari's deadpan humourous style - while writing about a subject he takes extremely seriously - can be found on YouTube.

Why do you think you know that? Do you have any of that tedious, boring stuff, called evidence?

I think HS is MORE united than at any time in our history. Knowledge about different cultures has never been so widespread or easily accessible. This goes with an enormous amount of work directed at recording, and sometimes preserving, all cultures.

Over thousands of years a major source of division and conflict has been religion. Religious belief throughout most of the world has declined and is continuing to do so.

If we identify the events in the Garden as the cradle of civilization, then the silly book would actually be accurate. See, there's always a way to make things fit.;)

I don't think we could ever come to an agreement on how long humans have been here but since we are here let's try and figure out some things so using the holy Bible as a historical reference evil enter the world on the 1st few pages of the Bible? And what is up with this land of nod? That's where Cain knew his wife after he killed his brother correct?
Yet if you are a non religious person or of another faith that is not the main three religions of today. How do you think evil 1st enter the world?

A reiteration of ancient myth is not evidence.

Well.....you ought to keep up with science.

Fast forward to 2017:

Three new discoveries in a month rock our African origins
The evolutionary story of modern humans just got more complicated

Modern humans share a lot with each other. We’re 99.9% genetically the same, and that impressive genetic similarity comes from inbreeding.

When geneticists first started measuring genetic differences between people, they realized that the population must have once been a lot smaller. They came up with the idea of a genetic “bottleneck”, a period in which the human population might have been very small.

One problem is that the “bottleneck” concept applies mostly to people outside of Africa. They have inherited most of their genes from a small population that grew and dispersed throughout the world .

Gee.....that sounds oddly familiar. Those who'd read the Bible can relate to that.

Last time I heard too, with new discoveries - they're now stumped with how planets are formed!

using the holy Bible as a historical reference

By the looks of it - if you review the posted things written in the Bible that were confirmed by science - yeah, you could say the Bible is a good reference!

Just look at your topic - the origin of the human race! The latest discovery is more in-lined with the
Biblical narrative!

Even if what's written isn't 100% accurate verbatim-wise.....

........the fact that so many descriptions of the universe are scientifically confirmed, makes for an impressive CUMULATIVE - CORROBORATING evidence!

The latest findings seems to lend support to the Biblical narrative.

What's decline of religion got to do with this???

Even if NOT A SINGLE person believes in God - would that change God being the Creator?

Wrong, what with the accretion hypothesis not having been dropped.

Yes...since god is just made up bull****, no one believing in it will take it off the table.

I suggest you properly read Buggs' address to Venema properly

Richard Buggs

and Venema's reply

https://biologos.org/blogs/dennis-venema-letters-to-the-duchess/adam-eve-and-population-genetics-a-reply-to-dr-richard-buggs-part-1

Nothing is supported and you're quote mining again, citing only what fits your convenience and leaving out the inconvenient lion's share of a scientific discourse between two people that understand science a lot better than you appear to do.
