For those who have chosen to remain ignorant of Bisphenol A, it is “frequently used in food packaging and plastics, BPA has been linked to reproductive toxicity, cancer, and other serious health disorders.”
But these “serious health disorders” mean nothing to the Republican Party. Yes, conservatives are more than happy to “protect” women’s health by restricting abortion and access to affordable healthcare, and “help” impoverished families by cutting funding to SNAP. After all, the Republicans are very careful so the “help” they provide for women and poor families doesn’t dip into the profits of the fat cats the GOP serves.
Since regulating BPA, or even funding research to establish a “safe level” (if there is a safe level) for human consumption would threaten corporate profits, the lapdogs of Big Business, better known as the Congressional Republicans, as usual, will make certain the issue is never addressed.
It is typical of the GOP to refuse to protect the American public and will surely please the majority of right-wingers. Sadly, they lack the understanding that BPA and other carcinogenic chemicals sold to us by the corporate fat cats sicken, injure, and kill more Americans than all Islamic radical groups combined.

If you agree with me that's fine. If you do not, I don't really care.
