The functions on the top of my comment box are greyed out.

The functions on the top of my comment box are greyed out and not usable. Am I personally being punished for over-use (jk, jk) or is it site-wide? I'm using the website on a laptop.

On the righthand side you have the "[ ]" button which is called "Toggle BB Code" when you hover over it (you can see it in Mycrofts image, second button to the right of "Preview"). If you turn this off, you get a text-only box and the function buttons are disabled. If you turn it on, the buttons should be enabled again. I think it remembers your last setting so you might have accidently clicked it at some point without realising.
