I notice that any news that China may be getting the better of the US in the tariff wars is met with glee in some quarters. I would think that should call for alarm. A decade or two back it would have been laughable that China would be going mano a mano with the US. The US slept at the wheel whille the dragon grew

OR , they themselves have to go fight it. If there's no Ukrainians left, I suppose that's their only option in keeping the war going. They won't like that though, lol. I mean Zelensky's gotta kidnap citizens right off the street to fight it. No wonder the little fascist won't allow an election

There was no meaningful US/EU response to the 2014 Russian invasions of Crimea and Donbas.

Indeed. If you want to be pickyune about it.

That said, the Crimea/Donbas incursions of 2014 are nothing like the 2022-2025 Russian "special military operation" that has seen hundreds of thousands perish and cities such as Mariupol leveled to the ground.
