The First Undeniable Climate Change Deaths

Maybe you should read the paper... For once... Instead of letting a journalist tell, you what to believe.

I know I won't be taking advice from Planar.

Slur?....snowflake

Chinaman /ˈtʃaɪnə.mən/ is an indiscriminate term referring to a Chinese man or person, a Mainland Chinese national, or, in some cases, a person native to geographical East Asia or of perceived East Asian race. While the term has no negative connotations in older dictionaries,[1][2] and the usage of such compound terms as Englishman, Frenchman and Irishman[3] are sometimes cited as unobjectionable parallels,[4] the term is noted as offensive by modern dictionaries. Its derogatory connotations evolved from its use in pejorative contexts regarding Chinese people and other Asians[5] as well as its grammatical incorrectness which resembles stereotypical characterizations of Chinese accents in English-speaking associated with discrimination

I see the PC Police are out in full force.

You brought up 110 degrees. I showed you where it is 110 degrees this year. And, no. 110 degrees is not normal for Texas.

I was talking about a "dry" 110F - average humidity in Palm Springs is about 12% - 15% during the average 117F sunny days.

As you know - there is a huge diffrence between TX/NJ 80% humidity and 85F versus TX/NJ lower temp and 40% humidity.

Rarely ever DRY out here at the NJ Shore/beach.

Keep in mind. He only knows talking points. You can't reason with him.

The last five years have been the warmest on record.

Top 10 Warmest Years on Record | Climate Central

There this year is on track of being at least the second warmest year on record.

2020 May Be Earth's Warmest Year On Record, Even Without an El Nino | The Weather Channel

So what?

It's the 2nd warmest year (where on Earth, BTW?) on record out of the last ~150 years that we have been recording temperatures.

What about the other 4.3 Billion years of Earth's existence?

Any warm years during that period of time? We have no idea!!

4.3 Billion years makes 150 years seem very insignificant, doesn't it? It does and is.

Weak. CCP slaves suit your sensitivities better?

"Fellow human beings" would be a good start, no? Or do you only care about humans which haven't been born yet?

150 years is very significant for human societies. There it is overwhelming evidence for manmade global warming and the urgent need for action.

Thirty-one top scientific societies speak with one voice on global climate change – The Ecological Society of America

There even federal agencies under Donald Trump have to acknowledge the urgent need for action.

Fourth National Climate Assessment

That the evidence is so overwhelming that even fossil fuel companies have to support the Paris Accord.

They pen this on anthropomorphic climate warming, how?

Well don't you know, man is guilty of original sin, using petroleum. All things bad are the devil.... wait I mean petroleum.

If you are willing to accept that yes the environment is changing and yes that means activity might have some causal effect on it and that if we stop doing certain things it would slow down the problem, if you go that far in that you're accepting 95% of the rhetoric but you don't believe that government power is the absolute tool to fix it all, or you don't believe there's impending doom in two and a half weeks or whatever it is, then they label you a heretic... Wait... I mean denier but it's the same thing.

It's not about science it's about politics and it's kind of morphing into a religion.

Sorry, but bottom line is that we have 150 years of temperature data and are missing 4.3 billion years of it.

Apparently Japan never suffered heat wave deaths until Al Gore's movie came out...

There are overwhelming evidence for the urgent need for action on manmade global warming.

"The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is extremely likely (greater than 95 percent probability) to be the result of human activity since the mid-20th century and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented over decades to millennia.1

Earth-orbiting satellites and other technological advances have enabled scientists to see the big picture, collecting many different types of information about our planet and its climate on a global scale. This body of data, collected over many years, reveals the signals of a changing climate.

The heat-trapping nature of carbon dioxide and other gases was demonstrated in the mid-19th century.2 Their ability to affect the transfer of infrared energy through the atmosphere is the scientific basis of many instruments flown by NASA. There is no question that increased levels of greenhouse gases must cause the Earth to warm in response.

Ice cores drawn from Greenland, Antarctica, and tropical mountain glaciers show that the Earth’s climate responds to changes in greenhouse gas levels. Ancient evidence can also be found in tree rings, ocean sediments, coral reefs, and layers of sedimentary rocks. This ancient, or paleoclimate, evidence reveals that current warming is occurring roughly ten times faster than the average rate of ice-age-recovery warming.3"

It can also be good to point out that a former climate denier appointed by Trump is in charge of NASA. So that NASA continue to acknowledge the urgent need for action shows how overwhelming the evidences are.
