This seems to be the best way to wet my feet.

I've been told that I'm the first South African here so don't go crazy on me..
I have a great sense of humor, but i'm direct, crude and i love sarcasm.

My political views are as complex as my country. Before you try and classify me try talking to me first and get a feel what i stand for. I'm not keen on name calling and as i'm not American be careful when using US insulting names like redneck or hilbilly, I just might think you meant them as compliments hehe.

Glad to have you. Welcome to DP.

She spent a month there living with her best friend from high school who lived there for years. I think it was Pietersburg (had to bust out google). I'm pretty sure it was near the Kruger National Park because she spent a lot of time there.

She said it was absolutely gorgeous.

strange to us as well...LOLOL

Ah Pietersburg's name has changed to Polokwane some time ago. I know the Kruger Park very well. Geez my family might as well had shares in that place, was there nearly every school holiday. I have family that lives in Nelspruit we normally slept over and then get up at 3 am to get to Skukuza or Sabie (KP gates). SA is a beautiful country, I love this place with all my heart. I have considered immigration a number of times, but then I speak to SA's that are living abroad.. and they miss this place. Even my friends in the US, there is just no place like home. My heart beats with my African drum.

hehe I wanted to say that your politics even cofuses your own people but thought better not post that

My friend is from Durban on the East Coast. Not aware of South African communities in the UK.
