Beginning January 1st, 2007:

1)All human female eggs which become fertilized must be registered with the government as a fertilized egg which has all rights as a human. Failure to do so will be a felony.

2)Any attempt to kill this egg is a felony.

3)All stillborns and miscarriages will be investigated fully as a possible crime. Which includes but is not limited to: fully carrier exams, autopsy on egg/fetus in whatever stage, and full inquiry into personal life of carrier.

4)Any abuse to the fertilized egg by the carrier will be prosecuted as such (i.e. smoking, not eating properly, not taking prescription vitamins).

5)Country of fertilization may determine citizenship.

6)If carrier is not married, child support payments will begin retroactively to fertilization. (DNA tests to support claim of fertilization will be administered at the cost of the carrier if need be).

Ummm, it is my understanding that something like 30%-40% of fertilized eggs naturally fail to implant into a womb. What crime is that? Suicide?
An investigation would have to be done to determine that. If the egg left a note, we should be fine.

I'll play.

Only giving rights to female eggs, I see. Unborn boys are not a concern to you?

A simple oversight, I’m sure.

Anyway, will a simple "fertilization certificate" do? Would we need anything more?
2)Any attempt to kill this egg is a felony.
...or manslaughter equivalent, sure.
3)All stillborns and miscarriages will be investigated fully as a possible crime. Which includes but is not limited to: fully carrier exams, autopsy on egg/fetus in whatever stage, and full inquiry into personal life of carrier.
My wife had a miscarriage....you’re proposal is not that far removed from reality as it is now. We were investigated, there was an autopsy (not sure how much of an autopsy could be don on an egg, though). The c.o.d. was "no-fault fetal demise" or somthing like that.
4)Any abuse to the fertilized egg by the carrier will be prosecuted as such (i.e. smoking, not eating properly, not taking prescription vitamins).
OK.
5)Country of fertilization may determine citizenship.
What if the "carrier" is an American, the bio-dad a Russian, and the fertilization happens in France? Triple citizenship?
6)If carrier is not married, child support payments will begin retroactively to fertilization. (DNA tests to support claim of fertilization will be administered at the cost of the carrier if need be).
Hmmm.....I say mandatory adoption and auto termination of the bio-dad‘s parental rights. Not providing a loving, stable home for your children is right up there with drug abuse and neglect.

Uh.....if it's fertilized, it very well could be a boy. The egg alone does not determine the gender, ya know. That one's up to the sperm.

Just an error in redundancy. To date, no male eggs have successfully be fertilized.

Oh man, I SO could have said a few exceptions.

What is telling is your inability to distinguish differences in the varying ideologies concerning abortion. Why must those that you do not understand be lumped into catagories with such hostile disrespect? What does that display you to be at your core?

Someone who understands biology and has made up their mind that killing for convenience is wrong.
