"an outdated grouping of human beings"Caucasoids
Is "White" the friend or enemy of "People of Color"?
The Negroid on the African Continent...The Mongoloid on the Asian Continent...The Caucasoid on the European Continent.
Oh, in my opinion, that is a no-brainer.
Europeans are the best friends that people of color have ever had.
People from other continents are eager to emigrate to Canada, the U.S., Europe, and Australia.
Why?
They appreciate all the blessings (both political and economic) that they can enjoy there.
If you had read the entire OP you would understand why I used those "outdated" classifications."an outdated grouping of human beings"
False premise, try again. Is such a ridiculously old classification and the fact you think its still accurate says a lot about this.
"Caucasians" or "white people" are descended from Proto-Indo-Europeans who originated around the Caucuses and then spread out south and west. All Iranians, Indians, Turkics, Eastern Europeans, Mediterranean people, Germanics, and Celtic people descend from this same group.
It's why we all share the same roots for words like sister, which comes from ''swésōr'', English: Sister, German: Schwéster, in Sanskrit: svásṛ, in Slavic: sestrà .
It's worth noting that many of the people you think of when you whine about immigration are considered "Caucasoids" as well, namely Arabs and North Africans. The different races of humans haven't been isolated long enough to become different subspecies. We are all still the same species, homo sapiens sapiens. We have many more commonalities, biologically and genetically speaking, than we do differences.
I agree; but why do so many arrive and then try to transform their dream into some Marxist nightmare of poverty, crime, fear, and oppression; much the same as what they fled?Oh, in my opinion, that is a no-brainer.

No, I haven't yet been able to understand why you would base an argument using outdated terms when its point was:If you had read the entire OP you would understand why I used those "outdated" classifications.
Just because someone wants something from you, does that make them your friend?
Modern immigration has populated Western Civilization with a collection of every example of Homo sapiens on planet Earth.
There's obviously something unique to Western Civilization that attracts people of every race, religion, ethnicity, age and gender.
Western Civilization originated around the culture of the Caucasoids, one of three separate and unique subspecies of Homo sapiens.
The origin of all Homo sapiens was Africa from which a few left and continued their evolution on the European and Asian continents.
Three human subspecies separated by great distances and tens of thousands of years, continued their evolutions with little or no contact.
Despite all being members of the same human race; the result of their isolated evolution was three separate and distinct subspecies.
The Negroid on the African Continent...The Mongoloid on the Asian Continent...The Caucasoid on the European Continent.
They only had 3 basic things in common which were; (1)survive (2)make babies (3)some genes from a 200,000 year old African ancestor.
Eventually the world became smaller and more populated which finally led to the meeting of the Negroids, Mongoloids and Caucasoids.
And now, here we are after centuries of population diversity and interbreeding; creating a racial hodgepodge of brand new colorful people.
This left modern Homosapiens in a dilemma...Political Correctness happened and declared "Negroid" and "Mongoloid" classifications 'racist'.
Western Civilization would have to create new words, terms, and classifications for just about everything concerning the minority races.
Finally to my point…This thread asks the question: Have you ever considered the implications of the race classification "People of Color"?
Did you realize "People of Color" includes every human skin pigment on the planet except for one..."White".
Is this good or bad?
Is this love or hate?
Is this discrimination?
Is this honor or disrespect?
Is "White" the friend or enemy of "People of Color"?
Have "Western Civilization" and "People of Color" reached an impasse? If so; Why???

It's impossible to have a sensible rational discussion with someone whose mind is locked so tight in Political Correctness, they've lost the ability to function outside that medium...not even briefly.I know why you do, because it makes it easier for you to justify racist beliefs.
Because the entire basis of this thread is "race classification".No, I haven't yet been able to understand why you would base an argument using outdated terms when its point was:
If this is true then why do so many people now identify themselves as "People of Color""Western Civilization would have to create new words, terms, and classifications for just about everything concerning the minority races."
News flash...."Western Civ" has created "new ways" of differentiating humans, it has done this through understanding genomes...but more importantly understanding that people differentiate themselves based on ethnicity. That is generally a self identification, a choice by the self....not one of "PC" by someone else.
Uh-huh...or maybe it's simply beyond your cognitive abilities. This home-schooled edumacation supported argument by you just has so many basic faults, it cannot, does not, support itself.
Finally someone who gets it...thank you, lwf...and you even managed a sensible rational argument.Different races are not distinct subspecies. The differences between races amount to little more than the differences between blondes and brunettes from an evolutionary perspective. Preference for one or another is just as subjective, and anecdotal cultural experiences about intelligence or behavior are just as spurious.
"People of color" as we use the term only makes sense in western civilization and it makes sense for two reasons: White people are the majority in western civilization, and said majority has a history of discriminating against any race that is not the majority. Hence, "people of color" = "western minorities."
"People of color" includes everyone but the majority. I suppose there is no reason why from a perspective of African or Asian societies this wouldn't include white people.
I don't know who told you "POC" is a "classification of race". It is not. They were wrong. You are not referencing any sort of currently used terminology to describe "race". You apparently picked up this term somewhere, it got into your brain, and you can't let go of it....so you decided to make a bait thread about it.Because the entire basis of this thread is "race classification".
Which breaks down to one single "race classification" in particular...This ain't rocket surgery, Gimme.
The one and only element of this thread that actually matters is; wait for it!-wait for it! "People of Color".
If you think you can focus on that; maybe we can talk...
I don't know of anyone that refers to themselves as a POC, I know that some folks still use that term to broadly refer to groups, but it is non-specific and out of date.If this is true then why do so many people now identify themselves as "People of Color"
I'm not the one confused about race, I'm not the one creating this bait thread using outdated terminology and concepts.Uh-huh...or maybe it's simply beyond your cognitive abilities.
If not "race"; exactly what is POC a classification for??? Please, thrill me with your wisdom and expertise...I don't know who told you "POC" is a "classification of race". It is not. You're inadvertently hitting on the point...I don't know of anyone that refers to themselves as a POC, I know that some folks still use that term to broadly refer to groups, but it is non-specific and out of date.
"Bait Thread"; that's Liberal Code for any discussion the Politically Correct Left has no sensible rational answer for.I'm not the one confused about race, I'm not the one creating this bait thread and concepts.
Out dated?! You've got to be kidding me?!using outdatted terminology
How in the hell, to you, does it describe:If not "race"; exactly what is POC a classification for??? Please, thrill me with your wisdom and expertise...
LOL...so your argument is going to be that minorities are unifying under the banner of "POC". I guess I missed all of the "WE are POC" marches with various minorities banding together under such a banner....oh wait, it hasn't happened. You're inadvertently hitting on the point...
Unification for the purpose of adversarial division from another...
Um, actually, you have yet to craft any "sensible, rational" argument, hence the application of "bait"."Bait Thread"; that's Liberal Code for any discussion the Politically Correct Left has no sensible rational answer for.
That doesn't mean it is NOT outdated, further, your argument is that it is being used by minorities "to unify themselves", as you argued above...but....that is not who you claim is using it.Out dated?! You've got to be kidding me?!
I hear "People of Color" and/or "Person of Color" mentioned almost daily by politicians, pundits, journalists, interviewees, and celebrities on every public medium. They're used by more people and more often now than ever before...what planet you been on, Gimme?! Welcome back to Earth.
