The DOJ Appears to Be Investigating a Federal Judge for ... Annoying the President

The Department of Justice—Pam Bondi, Malignant Overlord—has decided to investigate a federal judge for a) what is essentially a thought crime and b) Annoying the President in the First Degree, an entirely new federal offense. From One First with Steve Vladeck:

Every Trump servant at DOJ will wind up disbarred because of shit like this.

disbarrment? Only in a perfect world, and this is far, far from it...

Boasberg is a corrupt judge and deserves the worst that can legally happen to him.

He is being investigated by the government for saying that he has “concerns that the Administration would disregard rulings of federal courts, leading to a constitutional crisis.”

Would you have been okay with it if the Obama or Biden administration had initiated a legal investigation into a conservative judge because he expressed concerns about the democratic administration?

That's not all he is being investigated for. The media is only telling you part of the story.

If a conservative judge was as corrupt as Boasberg, I would welcome ANY administration that takes action against that judge.

We cannot allow corrupt judges to remain in our judicial system.

The media isn't telling only a part of the story. Here is the misconduct complaint. Read it yourself:

Perhaps YOU didn't read it.

Within days of those statements, Judge Boasberg began acting on his preconceived belief that the Trump Administration would not follow court orders. First, although he lacked authority to do so, he issued a temporary restraining order preventing the Government from removing violent Tren de Aragua terrorists, which the Supreme Court summarily vacated.

Throughout the proceedings, Judge Boasberg rushed the government through complex litigation, sometimes giving the Trump Administration less than 48 hours to respond and threatening criminal-contempt proceedings and the appointment of an outside prosecutor against senior Trump Administration officials for failing to comply with an order that had already been vacated.

Taken together, Judge Boasberg’s words and deeds violate Canons of the Code of Conduct for United States Judges 1, 2(A), and 3(A)(6), erode public confidence in judicial neutrality, and warrant a formal investigation under Rule 11.

It's not just what he said, as the OP contends, it's also his corrupt actions.

Trump is going to take this judge down . . . and any others who dare to question his authority.

And MAGA loves it.

Perhaps we need an appelate system within the judiciary when judges go rogue. Until such a system is created, we'll just have to rely on the fine folks at the DOJ to rein in these unruly judges.

Boasberg is a corrupt judge and deserves the worst that can legally happen to him.
Give us one example of corruption by this judge. Not an opinion or a MAGA accusation, but actual evidence.

I bet you can't.

In 2016 the DOJ-NSD headed by Mary McCord filed a FISA application seeking a Title-1 search (full and unlimited) surveillance warrant against the leading presidential candidate, Donald Trump. The method to gain the surveillance authority was to use CIA informant Carter Page who had met with the Trump campaign and call Page an “agent of a foreign power.”

The FISA Court knowingly and with specific intent approved the Title-1 surveillance warrant which was filed using false evidence (Clinesmith) and sketchy supporting documents (Steele Dossier), no Woods File was attached.

At the time of the application, Mary McCord was acting head of the DOJ National Security Division. McCord was responsible for filing the warrant application. The DOJ-NSD had no inspector general oversight. The targeting of candidate Donald Trump was entirely for political purposes and intents.

After President Trump won the 2016 election, he gave DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz authority to conduct oversight over the DOJ-NSD. IG Horowitz started investigating the FISA application. This is where things get interesting.

The FISA Court (FISC) was exposed by their willful blindness in allowing the Title-1 targeting of Donald Trump.

Justice John Roberts is in charge of the FISC.

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts then appointed Judge James Boasberg to the position of presiding judge over the FISA Court (FISC).

Judge Boasberg then selected Mary McCord to be an amicus or advisor to the court as Horowitz was investigating the fraudulent FISA application.

Boasberg put the person who was in charge of submitting the false FISA application in a position to filter the results of the Horowitz investigation of that same FISA application.

In essence, think of this as protecting the Judicial Branch. Justice Roberts appointed Boasberg to defend the FISC from scrutiny. Boasberg then moves Mary McCord into position to defend the FISC from scrutiny (McCord also protects herself).

At the time, Mary McCord’s husband Sheldon Snook was working within Justice Robert’s office.

That’s how John Roberts, James Boasberg and Mary McCord all connect. All the motives and intents go back to that original Title-1 FISA application.

There is much more at that link. You should read the entire article to know who Boasberg is. The above is just part of his corruption.

Here's another part...

Al the claims about the Boasberg corruption first of all come from 9 years ago and have all been hashed out over and over again. Never mind the fact that all the opposition to him comes from Trump and his MAGA following. Obviously, when one rules against Trump, one gets attacked. We've seen this since 2015.

This is just my opinion, but I believe Trump is pushing his luck going after all these judges. There will come a time when all the courts, including the SC will reach their limit and claw back the stolen power. Trump is out of his depth. He just doesn't know it yet.

Just because a victim objects, that doesn't mean he is wrong when claiming he is a victim.

btw, we are now seeing the clear evidence of corruption...by all three branches of the government...perpetrated against the victim regardless of whether this has "all been hashed out over and over again".

shrug...

I don't care about your opinion.
