The Dems in their wildest Dreams could not make a story like this up about Ted Cruz

If he as a Senator does not know how to use his position in what they down there call a national disaster (here we call it winter) he does not deserve to be a Senator...
Agreed, and yet they will still reelect him.

"I had to take the lousy brat to Cancun. Family values."

Sorry...but you are going to have to do alot better then those links before you will be taken seriously. They did not include the offending posts on Parler that led to bans. And at least one of the idiots banned openly admitted that he went on to Parler to disrupt. Nobody is claiming that Parler will not ban anyone who breaks the rules. The claim is that Parler does not ban anyone over political views.
Sorry, but you provide nothing to show they are not.

The "disrupt" could be applied to any discussion forum. Rules breaking is one thing we will agree on. However, shouldn't posting to get a reaction or "disrupt" be considered "free speech"?

Many years ago I was kicked off of a 911 conspiracy site for disagreeing with many of the posters views. The post I made was backed up with sources.
I suspect Parler will do the same under the disguise of someone being "disruptive".

Just in case you didn't know, Cruz (whom I don't particularly like) is a US senator. Therefore, there is very little he could actually do to help his state of Texas. He represents the state regarding federal government, not state government.
We should not have US Senators since you say there’s very little they can do to help their state; unless their Democrats.

Everyone knows that Ted Cruz went for a vacation in Cancun, Mx, while his state freezes. That is bad enough and along with his insurrection should have him resigning. What is even worse is he asked for and received a police escort to make sure he could get to the sir port. With all of the problems that his state is having he essentially forces the police to escort him to make sure he got to the airport. Talk about elties, this is one of the stupidest things I think a politico could do during the problems his state is having. Of course his state will do nothing as he is their shinning star.

He didnt engage in insurrection, so thats irrelevant, but sure, this is more bad optics than anything. News says he wasnt escorted to the airport, but rather monitored while he was in the airport, maybe because of the constant death threats he gets. He probablky should have stayed and seen what federal help could be offered. Not that weather is a federal job.

The Houston Police Department confirmed to ABC News that Cruz's staff contacted police personnel on Wednesday requesting assistance upon the senator's arrival at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, though they did not specify what type of assistance.

Police said he arrived at Terminal E and officers "monitored his movements" through the terminal.

Sen. Ted Cruz responds to media reports of flying to Cancun amid brutal Texas weather, said he wanted to be 'good dad' - ABC News

Like any politician this is more partisan red meat than anything serious. When partisans start holding their own reps accountable before the enemy, then we can care.

"You guys just don't understand. This kid is a nightmare. If I didn't do what she said, I was in for some real hell. We're talking one entitled loud-mouthed little bitch. I'm a good dad. Family values."

Maybe be available to field the concerns of his desperate constituents? Or, is that now a quaint old notion?
Cruz's Quote: “My staff and I are in constant communication with state and local leaders to get to the bottom of what happened in Texas. We want our power back, our water on, and our homes warm. My team and I will continue using all our resources to keep Texans informed and safe.”

Apparently he doesn't agree with the republican apologists on this board who think there is nothing he could possibly do to help.

Point is....if one cannot produce the offending post that allegedly got him or or kicked off, then one does not really have a point. Parler, according to it's CEO accepts all political views, librul or conservative. That does not mean they will not ban suspend or ban someone who is just there to push the limits or disrupt.

Not sure what you mean. Do you think he should be there answering the phones? Don't they all have people for that kind of thing?

We don't agree his physical presence is required. Unlike a Governor or a Mayor or a Supervisor or a Councilwoman or ...

Leadership is never really required, is it? But it's good to have. Maybe you're right and Texas is better without his leadership. After all, he has a very demanding daughter to attend to.

Why should anyone have a problem with a Senator on recess vacationing outside the country during a cold snap? If you want to gripe about a police escort to the airport, that is fair, however what do you think Senator Cruz can do about cold weather? Perhaps command a massive fleet of low flying helicopters to warm the air? The real anger should be directed at roughly 25% of power being directed to so-called green energy alternatives, like windmill technology which is failing badly during the cold snap and putting a strain on conventional plants.

Says the man who attacked Pelosi for having ice cream in her fridge, lol.

Just look at Nancy Pelosi's district.....rotting tent cities almost viewable from her neighborhood. She's more concerned with her new hight tech refrigerator and ten dollar cartons of ice cream.

You may now resume telling everyone how to behave and what to get upset over. :ROFLMAO:

I basically attack Pelosi because she is an aged senile lush who has no business still serving as Speaker of the House.

And because she dares to have ice cream in her fridge?

Seriously dude, you attacked her for something that was incredibly stupid. Just own up to it, it's not a big deal. Doesn't make you a bad person. No need to try to wiggle your way out of it. It's right there in black and white.

I'll take you seriously after you call down similar jabs at Trump and Trump supporters. Have a nice day.

She eats name brand ice cream. I totally get why you're upset. I mean, there you are eating generic ice cream and she's living the good life. Smooth. Creamy. All natural. If I were you, I'd be pissed too.

So much stupid in one post....

What is he supposed to lead? He's not the Governor or a Mayor or a Supervisor or a Councilwoman or ... I'm sure of there is anything hat the Federal gvt can do, he's going to help make sure it will happen.

What's with your hate for the guy that you are concocting such ridiculous criticisms?

When his daughter says, "jump", he asks "how high". He ain't got time for Texas.

They will have a multitude of lame excuses ready.
