The Dems in their wildest Dreams could not make a story like this up about Ted Cruz

Everyone knows that Ted Cruz went for a vacation in Cancun, Mx, while his state freezes. That is bad enough and along with his insurrection should have him resigning. What is even worse is he asked for and received a police escort to make sure he could get to the sir port. With all of the problems that his state is having he essentially forces the police to escort him to make sure he got to the airport. Talk about elties, this is one of the stupidest things I think a politico could do during the problems his state is having. Of course his state will do nothing as he is their shinning star.

Why should anyone have a problem with a Senator on recess vacationing outside the country during a cold snap? If you want to gripe about a police escort to the airport, that is fair, however what do you think Senator Cruz can do about cold weather? Perhaps command a massive fleet of low flying helicopters to warm the air? The real anger should be directed at roughly 25% of power being directed to so-called green energy alternatives, like windmill technology which is failing badly during the cold snap and putting a strain on conventional plants.

Still clinging to the windmill argument? Once again, Texas has a PRIVATE energy market. The PRIVATE companies determine what kind of generating plant they want to build, not the STATE...

The real test of whether Cruz cares about his voters is how new his refrigerator is and whether it contains ice cream. Vacationing in Cancun while his constituents freeze to death is far less important a test of character.

Cruz cannot do anything about the weather, but as a Senator he could be there helping his constituents like a real leader would. Of course he would have to get his balls back form Donny two scoops first.

  1. Do not go on vacation.
  2. Be present so you are leading by example and not running away from the problem.
  3. Be an integral part of linking needed agencies to where they are needed most using your senatorial clout.

Your green energy comment was misguided. Maybe watch something other than Fox news once in a while? The TX governor lied about it on Hannity the other day, in case you didn't know that.

Have you not seen the tweets from Beto O'Rourke making all the PSAs and announcing where help can be found? That's what leadership looks like. Not taking vacations in Cancun and telling lies on Hannity to attack the liberals.
