That's all wrong. Needs a realigning. No you're a scope is limited so therefore you think everyone is as limited as You Are.
I would only say this sort of thing if we were arguing about signs of an issue. Just because you engage in tribalism doesn't mean i do
No we can't that's opinion we can't both have our truth there's no such thing as our truth there is the truth and there's lies.
Typically I argue for the methods outcomes will be what they are and predicting them is what it is
Again that's because of your tribalism. If you want to do that nonsense you go on ahead. I'm not going to defend a side just to play your need to attack the enemy.
If you could in the first place.
Opinion noted. That's all wrong. Needs a realigning.
That's all I or you have ever offered.Opinion noted.
I lack the resources to deprogram millions of people. This is part of the problem Democrats define themselves by hating others. Instead of moaning and complaining about Trump supporters offer an alternative. Trump is a polarizing figure this should be easy.
From my perspective, it’s MAGA that lives to hate. Hate the brown, hate the black, hate the gay, hate the lib, hate the poor. I can’t for the life of me see how you conclude the opposite. This is part of the problem Democrats define themselves by hating others.
Don't know what "E" word, Exquisitor?First of all, Wade kills babies, the Russians are our friends, and no one in the MAGAsphere wants to swim against boys, preferring young nubile women instead.
Secondly, thank you for not using the 'E' word.
MAGA.
I'm just trying to slay a little Maya and take a thorn out of our side.If so, how do you explain the generic congressional ballot which has the democrats up by 2.9 points over the republicans?
https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/state-of-the-union/generic-congressional-vote
Which simply means if the House elections were held today, more Americans would vote for the democratic congressional candidates than the republican congressional candidates. The cooked party currently has the lead in the battle over who will control congress after next year’s midterms.
The most important issues are inflation, rising prices, jobs and the economy, healthcare, etc. Not what you mentioned although abortion comes in at 4%. Question 6
Trumpers are gullible cult members who believe the lies that trump tells them. Over and over. Here's the important chart from the WSJ's article:
View attachment 67581854
As I've tried to point out many times, Trump hasn't beaten the Democrats two of the last three times because he's a wonderful person with terrific policy ideas. Many people hold their nose and vote for Trump because they see the Democrats as being an even worse option. Think about that, Democrats: Worse. Than. Trump.
That wouldn't sell much air time, now would it?Or it could be that many of us would love to go back to the days when national politics was not so tribal and both parties were mainstream enough that we all respected the president and congress critters regardless of party.
Biden and Obama were not all that respectful to political opposition as well. And it was presidential candidate Hillary Clinton that openly declared half of all Trump supporters as deplorables. To be sure, pa1rty tribalism is in the long run has roots to the lack of term limits for congress critters. The legislative branch on average has about an 18% approval rating.I agree that it would feel great to respect the president and the congress, yet they don't seem to be respecting me much these days, and many of them, led by the POTUS do not behave in any way worthy of respect. He basically defines tribalism and notes that I and my fellow Democrats are "enemies of the people".
She said half of Trump supporters are deplorable...and white supremacists and anti-semites Islamaphobes etc. are exactly that.Biden and Obama were not all that respectful to political opposition as well. And it was presidential candidate Hillary Clinton that openly declared half of all Trump supporters as deplorables. To be sure, pa1rty tribalism is in the long run has roots to the lack of term limits for congress critters. The legislative branch on average has about an 18% approval rating.
"You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? [Laughter/applause]. The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.
"But the other basket, the other basket, and I know because I see friends from all over America here. I see friends from Florida and Georgia and South Carolina and Texas, as well as you know New York and California. But that other basket of people who are people who feel that government has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and their futures, and they are just desperate for change. It doesn't really even matter where it comes from. They don't buy everything he says but he seems to hold out some hope that their lives will be different. They won't wake up and see their jobs disappear, lose a kid to heroine, feel like they're in a dead-end. Those are people we have to understand and empathize with as well."
That is the hildabeast assuming that half or Trump supporters fit into that category. It was an insane thing for her to say, and she likely lost half a million votes on that statement alone. She said half of Trump supporters are deplorable...and white supremacists and anti-semites Islamaphobes etc. are exactly that.
The winds may change, plenty of time left for that. If you dig a bit deeper, you’ll find that most of those issues you mentioned, whichever side some folks take on those issue. That they’re already baked into the equation. That avid pro-choicers have been voting democratic for a long time, the same for the avid pro-lifers who have been voting republican. Same with your men swimming with women or the transgender issue. That already baked in also. Democrats want those men swimming with women or participating in woman’s sport where republicans don’t. No new recruits on those issues. They may be passion issues to some, but that some has been voting their passion for quite a while.I'm just trying to slay a little Maya and take a thorn out of our side.
You never know, the winds of opinion, how they will flow for the election to turn up their noses.
She lost votes on the basis of right wing media constantly mischaracterizing her statement. The statement was a sign of sanity to be revolted by some of Trump's loud supporters. That is the hildabeast assuming that half or Trump supporters fit into that category. It was an insane thing for her to say, and she likely lost half a million votes on that statement alone.
Hillary said it once, Trump, and his followers, say as bad and worse on pretty much a daily basis. They know it and they don’t care. She said half of Trump supporters are deplorable...and white supremacists and anti-semites Islamaphobes etc. are exactly that.
She also went on to describe the other half in complimentary words. Trump (and followers) have been using this "quote" to justify their own intolerable behavior for 10 years now. It's getting old. In case you are interested in her actual statement:
Keeping it classy I see. That is the hildabeast assuming that half or Trump supporters fit into that category. It was an insane thing for her to say, and she likely lost half a million votes on that statement alone.
I don't think all of those issues are baked in with the political parties, however not necessarily with each party's voters. Them men competing in women's sports and massive illegal immigration pushed enough typical democrat voters to Trump in 2024 to give him the popular vote and the GOP control of the Senate. This is why the overturning of ROE didn’t help nor hurt the democrats who tried to make it a voting deciding issue or the republicans for that matter. That issue was already baked in. It was the economy, inflation that did them in. Will the economy and inflation do in the republicans next year? It’s this issue that those who don’t affiliate or identify with either major party, most will vote their wallets. Not abortion, not transgender issues.
Considering what the left on this board says about Trump and his supporters on a daily basis, I will take that with a grain of salt.Hillary said it once, Trump, and his followers, say as bad and worse on pretty much a daily basis. They know it and they don’t care.
I could have said "evil wrench from hell", however that would have been rude.Keeping it classy I see.
Are you surprised those on the left have finally become fed up with the MAGA name calling and are fighting fire with fire?Considering what the left on this board says about Trump and his supporters on a daily basis, I will take that with a grain of salt.
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! The left wing name-calling is not something recent. It started in the 2016 election season. Are you surprised those on the left have finally become fed up with the MAGA name calling and are fighting fire with fire?
Yes, it's remarkable how Trump controls what so many people think.Trumpers are gullible cult members who believe the lies that trump tells them. Over and over.
Can you name a president, or even any legitimate politician, that has taken lying and name calling to MAGA levels?Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! The left wing name-calling is not something recent. It started in the 2016 election season.
The Trump lying aspect is all in your head. The name-calling has been largely directed at Trump since 2016. That he is giving some of it back is not unusual. Names? Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi< Chuck Schumer, AOC, Biden. I could go on.Can you name a president, or even any legitimate politician, that has taken lying and name calling to MAGA levels?
