Tanzania's President John Magufuli has died. The government claimed he died from heart failure, but the Opposition has for some time suspected he had contracted Covid. Magulfi was a big Covid sceptic, who always claimed there was no Covid in Tanzania, refused to participate in any vaccine buying schemes, since Tanzania "doesn't need any vaccine because Tanzania doesn't have Covid". He has also claimed prayer and herbal medicine was the best cures if someone got the virus (which no one got because Tanzania officially doesn't have Covid).
