Now if you can't credibly show cause, that absolutely refute Scalia's words in Heller that second amendment IS limited, the former federal ban on assault weapons, the current state's bans on assault weapons under the 10th amendment, which like the former federal ban are legal and currently enforced and why said assault weapons are NOT military design made for mass killing, then we're done. Assault rifles are selective fire, they have not been used in any of the recent mass shootings.

This is why the gun control movement fails, because those who want to ban guns don't know a thing about them.

The Bannerrhoid movement is NOT

1) motivated by an understanding of firearms

2) crime patterns and criminal behavior

but rather

a political agenda and hatred of conservatives and the NRA

that hatred is not due to any information about firearms

but rather the voting patterns of pro gun voters

Yep, you're absolutely right. We will also note that the shooter was a veteran (american hero), and that he was a law abiding citizen, who took advantage of his ability to own an assault weapon in case the government comes for his guns...

The perp had a lot of explosives at his house, was making more and was planning an even bigger incident. For some reason, he upped his time table.
