LolWill they cry foul if Trump cancels the mid-terms or even the main election in 2028?
Lol
Seriously?
Do Republicans care about the constitution any more?
They don't seem to have any problem changing or just flat out ignoring it if they don't like it so why are they even bothering to pretend they still care about it?
Will they cry foul if Trump cancels the mid-terms or even the main election in 2028?
You are supporting a president that won't leave office when he loses , you are supporting a dictator. you are this countries biggest threat and that can't be argued , you sold us out, You sold out the flag and the constitution. You are the enemy.I have no obsession with Hillary only thankful the better person won. Trump hasn't lost yet. I want Trump to win because he is focused on a vaccine to end this pandemic while the left is fearmongering the people over the the vaccine for political gain. Trump and the republicans are the winners not the ones who still cannot accept defeat.
The reason you believe Trump will refuse to leave office is because that's what MSM has told you ever since Trump was sworn into office.
It only took four years but your programming and indoctrination have obviously been a tremendous success...congratulations, Upty!
What Will You Do if Trump Doesn’t Leave?
Playing out the nightmare scenario.
I have been posting virtually every day about the recalcitrant dictator of Belarus who refuses the electoral will of the people.
I know very well how I would react if Donald Trump attempted a similar coup here in the United States. Do you know how you would react?
Let's face it. Trump is unlike any previous US...
Trump is desperate, intimidating voters, very plausible. After all trump and barr were willing to attack peaceful protesters on Lafayette st. for a campaign photo op.
They won't say it out loud until Fox tells why democracy is no longer relevantYep, I'm going there.
I know they'll bend over backwards for the one true king but I want to hear it from them that they will be fine with a sitting president cancelling elections.
Liberals have been melting down over "dictator" Trump not leaving office since 2020 and earlier.

That's not I'm getting at. Trump has clearly signalled his intent not to accept the results, therefore not to leave office. It's his fault if people are thinking it, not the media's. It's his own words.
As to whether he actually will or...What Will You Do if Trump Doesn’t Leave?

It is true Trump is becoming more desperate. He recently said he would not necessarily accept the results of the elections, he now has a Gestapo kidnapping people off the street, and he is now contemplating making law by edict:
Trump eyes Supreme Court ruling on DACA as license to skirt the law - Axios
You don't see many libertarians or conservatives complain because, fundamentally, contemporary conservatives...
What do you mean "first time?" What was 2020 then? The zeroth time?Yes, we're concerned as for the first time in history it's actually a possibility.
Trump himself has mentioned it so you can't somehow claim it's entirely impossible.
Something this important must be 100% and the idea that elections are 100% solid is a must no matter who's in power.
I would also be against Obama going for a third term or threatening to cancel elections if he does win.
I thought you guys loved the constitution but you sure don't seem to mind ignoring it or just breaking it completely as with birthright citizenship of deporting US citizens.
What do you mean "first time?" What was 2020 then? The zeroth time?
Another day, another delusional leftist meltdown about the bad orange man...Trump never thought for a second he could lose to Biden.
This time he's can't run again by law which is why he might just ignore the law and decide to cancel the elections.
Never underestimate Trumps ability to delude himself about his own infalibility.
Another day, another delusional leftist meltdown about the bad orange man...
Just posting historical fact for you. It's inconvenient, ain't it?Another day, another Trump supporter desperate to deflect any criticism of Trump.
There's a reason Trump is despied all round the world as a clown.
How within our federal/state system might Trump cancel national elections? Unilaterally, he can't. Not without the collaboration of congress and the acquiescence of the states.Do Republicans care about the constitution any more?

We like the Constitution just fine - although we disagree with a lot of the BS dems seem to think is "constitutional", e.g. sneaking into the country and living for decades sucking up benefits intended for those here legally.Do Republicans care about the constitution any more?

Get back to us when he does. Will they cry foul if Trump cancels the mid-terms or even the main election in 2028?

By the way, being from the UK, how often does your King/Queen leave? Is it every 4 to 8 years?
Perhaps not..................historically, people have given their lives to protect their egos, and Trumpers have sold their souls in a variety of ways so far..........so no....Will they cry foul if Trump cancels the mid-terms or even the main election in 2028?
What do you mean "first time?" What was 2020 then? The zeroth time?
I don't think that will work out the way the monarchists hope. Will they cry foul if Trump cancels the mid-terms or even the main election in 2028?
Are you done pretending they have no power? Please show where a monarch has ever refused to appoint the PM after an election or being chosen by the party in power.
Also show where any Minister has been removed or blocked from being appointed.
Any at all will do.
These powers are not used and if they were it would cause an instant constitutional crisis and may end the monarchy forever.
Are you done pretending they have no power?
That's not what the link says. Deal with it.Again if you knew anything at all about our system you'd know those powers are ceremonial.
Trump left office despite loads of leftists melting down 5 years ago that he wouldn't. Deal with it.No monarch would dare refuse to give assent to a new PM as it would cause instant chaos and as I said most likely start the process to become a republic.
Again, please show where any PM has been blocked from power by a monarch.
It would be akin to a US president ordering a nuclear strike out of the blue on a US city.
Yes, technically he might be allowed to do so but do you think the order would be followed?
That's not what the link says. Deal with it.

OK then show me where Trump stayed in office on January 21, 2021.OK then show where it has happened
and the monarch has intervened in UK politics.
The last queen was well known for staying out of politics and not giving an opinion.
Again if you had any idea at all you'd know this stuff.
One of the reasons the monarchy in the UK is so popular is that they aren't politicians or political active.
Just having a power doesnt mean they will or can ever use it.
OK then show me where Trump stayed in office in January 21, 2021.
