Now if this allegation were made against a male Democratic President, it would be all anyone ever talked about until the guy was hounded out of office. The discrepancy illustrates two things:
1) the incredible rightward bias of the press
2) the mindblowing hypocrisy of the right

Accusations against Democrats are frontpage news. Accusations against Replicans get tossed.

(With their track record, they need the advantage.)

Oh well. No one ever said life is fair. We of the left will have to content ourselves with little things like corruption, torture, treason, and war crimes.

Ok, ok, ok, ok. I won't rail against you, but I will against this "story." I'm as anti-Bush as anyone on the planet, but this story is pointless. Accusations and allegations. About the past ...

Character isn't an issue. Issues are issues. I hear your point about Dem versus Rep stories gaining traction, but it isn't exactly true. Different kinds of stories gain traction with different kinds of readers.

If you oppose the president, it's quite easy to make a strong, relevant argument against the President's job performance and his policies, and most of the country is already all aboard. So why push this unqualified sensationalistic hearsay?
