and the mind has associated it to another pattern. a beige color shaped like a hand

or it could be dark brown shape shaped like a hand

all of reality is nothing but patterns of color and sound associated together by the mind

when you look the the toe and chair appears

when your not looking its something on the something. its beyond the senses

toe and chair are sensory perceptions, they dont continue to exist without you

Blind people don't see their hands, but they sense things with them. You seem to not understand how many ways human beings take in sensory input or how the brain processes it. Color and pattern does not accurately describe sensory input.

patterns of colors is visual

so that does not exist when your not looking

the rest exists
