Right, you are blinded by an ideology that believes the rich are going to fund the liberal spending appetite. Liberalism isn't free nor are the programs they have proposed, why are you so blind. Who pays for these programs like Medicare for All? the Green Energy Deal? Haven't paid any attention at all to the Biden/Harris agenda, have you
This is all projection on your part, because thus far I haven't brought up DNC talking points. The problem is you've bought into your ideology hook, line, and sinker to the point you think there is no other alternative; which is false. Ultimately, the choice is for a country's populace to determine what they want to pay for; which is based on the perceived benefit. A broader healthcare system which makes healthcare less of a financial burden could very well make sense for many; the potential of growing a new green energy industry could fall under the same category. Nothing is free, it's a matter of how you want to pay for things.
Again, I just haven't fallen for all of the Trump campaign fear mongering that paints any other alternative as end times; that's just silly.
Right, higher taxes don't mean less spendable income, right? What a waste of time.
That depends on how much though, doesn't it? As well as the benefit the people get from that tax increase. If we're talking about funding for a healthcare system, that new tax could help those who struggle with medical bills or high premiums. You just keep having knee jerk reactions to issues rather than entertaining ways of solving existing problems. It's why you're the ideologue in these exchanges.
I cannot believe people like you don't get it, does it matter how much, any dollar taken in higher taxes is one dollar less than you have to spend on something you want or need and that affects everyone including your customers. You actually believe someone benefits from tax cuts? you are right, bureaucrats!!!
In my over 50 years in the work force I do have a little bit more experience than you on this issue, but liberal arrogance
Wrong, there is no obvious way to actually avoid cancer but there is an obvious way to avoid the virus, you cannot seem to grasp the difference. If you get the virus who are you going to blame?
You keep focusing on this issue praying that Trump would have violated the 10th Amendment and spreading the liberal bullshit that liberals in this country would believe a word he said. Apparently it is only Trump supporters that have died from the virus, right? How is what Trump supposedly said in January and February relative now? You think the American people are stupid and you so smart? Why haven't you gotten the virus since obviously Trump didn't change your mind?
First off you failed to understand the analogy I made. Understanding and talking about preventative measures for diseases of any kind was the issue. In fact there are early detection and other steps people can do to prevent and reduce the risk of cancer no different than with any contagious virus. That one zipped over your head and you don't seem to grasp the concept that we were talking about how Trump got caught lying about Covid 19 and called it downplaying.
Next, I do not and have never blamed you or anyone for Covid 19. What you don't seem to understand is disease is about cause and effect not blame and we can and should engage in preventative measure to reduce its exposure. In the case of Covid 19, science not moral preaching and political rhetoric Trump engages in, tell us its cause is unhygienic wet meat markers where meat is left on counters with its blood and then humans handle the meat and the virus is passed from the blood of a human's hands to another or when they handle the meat. In fact the Covid virus is one of many that have come out of China because of unsanitary handling of meat. Is there a point blaming anyone? No. That is in fact Trump rhetoric you engage in. I do not. I refer and engage in science to explain disease not theology or political partisan dialogue.
You also asked whether what Trump says relative back in January is relevant. Do you really need to ask what harm he has done downplaying the virus? Do you really need to ask that? Of course not. You posed it as a rhetorical question to try argu Trump can say anything he wants and it causes no harm. Well lol, Using that logic you argue his comments have no impact on anything. is a useless jack of crap and his comments are meaningless we agree then however in the real world your trying to deflect from what he says about the virus is absurd. You would argue there has been no harm caused by your head of state mocking medical preventative measures to stop the spread of Covid. You think a leader who mocks the safety of his citizens and the warnings of his experts causes no harm. You think his downplaying the virus as he calls it, the wrongful dissemination of actual accurate information about the disease is not harmful. Got it. I don't. I think people follow him like a Messiah and have downplayed the virus and spread it and exposed themselves to it because of his comments.
Next at no time did I suggest, state or ever argue only Trump supporters get Covid 19. Again because you can't grasp the nuances and implications of your own arguments you missed the point I made and that is you and your Trumpets have been exposed by Trump to the virus by him telling you to gather in crowds in closed spaces and calling out his name as the Messiah of the US.
I also have never said the American people are stupid and I am smart. That again is your projection. Because I disagree with what you said, you replaced you with the reference "American people". You are not the American people, you are one American. Next in addition to rewording yourself as the "American people" you also use the term "American people" to define anyone who supports Trump. No. In fact the people who support Trump are "some American people".
Next when I debate I do not call any American stupid or you. I challenge your comments or the words of Trump, period.
Well if I'm looking at it from my customer base, tax increases haven't been an impact since many of them are upper middle class and tend to have a comfortable discretionary budgets.
In all of our exchanges you've been the most arrogant by far, but then again you project a lot.
Why would anyone trust an extreme right wing conspiracy site to get it right when trying to present views that Democrats should read? The Biden Hoax
Joe Biden’s nomination is the Democrats’ crowning insult. They’re making another go at playing voters for chumps. Democrats, the D.C. establishment, and the left started hoaxing Americans back in 2016. The Russia H...www.americanthinker.com
Is there ever going to be a time when good Democrats wake up to the reality of exactly who Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi are and how Biden is nothing more than a placeholder? Do you supposed Democrats understand what the radical party stands for today and how that destroys the very foundation upon which this country was created and the rule of law?
Come on, there has to be some honest Democrats in this forum that recognize the disaster awaiting us with Harris/Biden!
Why would anyone trust an extreme right wing conspiracy site to get it right when trying to present views that Democrats should read?
I don't answer alot of nonsensical questions, why would you imagine I'd start now?The right wing conspiracy site doesn't generate results that we are seeing today and that I posted. Address the content and not the author. You didn't answer the questions I posed
Thank you and your passionate support of liberalism defies logic, common sense, and actual results.
NJ is rapidly becoming a third world country where the haves like you are controlling the have nots and prefer it that way.
Arrogance is shown in the hatred the left has for Trump, support for failed liberalism, and inability to discuss or even debate issues. Any business person in the private sector that supports Biden/Harris is clueless about the effects of their policies on the private sector. Obama gave us the worst recovery in history from a recession and you will double down on those results
I've just challenged your faulty conclusions and bad data analysis; no Liberalism/Conservatism/Rastafariamism/Socialism required.
No, it is not. Interesting that you mention "haves are controlling the have nots" when that's precisely what you advocate by supporting a financial elite who has never been a "have not".
I've discussed issues at length on numerous occasions; that you don't like my responses is on you. There are plenty of people in the private sector who have supported Democrats and will continue to do so. Their continued success runs contrary to your assumption about their being clueless about the effects of political policies on their businesses.
Yes, you challenged it with rhetoric but not data, your biased partisan liberal point of view trumps actual data and facts.
Here the fact, we are a private sector economy built on personal responsibility and individual wealth creation, liberalism promotes neither and for someone claiming they are in the private sector you sure don't show it
Liberalism does create dependence, the private sector doesn't.
How has any rich person prevented you from joining them? Those supporting Biden/Harris from the private sector live in that bubble ignoring the harm liberalism has done to the general public showing that liberal compassion is just rhetoric nothing positive. Keep people dependent, using African Americans as pawns, promoting the massive nanny state has to be funded by whom?
Incorrect. I've cited numerous sources when applicable; this was especially the case in challenging statements you've made regarding COVID 19. The data I cited is not in dispute; what is are some of the assumptions you've made from that data.
That's quite a naive view. We are indeed a private sector economy, but personal responsibility is not at its core. Corporations and financial elites have acquired enough political power where they can skirt the "personal responsibility" you so cherish. Our history is replete with abuses of the private sector, because their focus is solely on the profit margins of their particular industries, and not the negative effects of their actions. I won't argue that some push for too much regulation, but there's a need for it as well. It doesn't take a PhD in Psychology to understand that checks and balances are required from people running amok. If you're in the private sector you can either ignore this, or try to be a responsible corporate citizen.
Interesting. Then why are we subsidizing some industries in this country; why not let them sink or swim based on the "personal responsibility" model? You either create a sustainable business or not; right?
That's quite the bit of projection; especially thinking that the GOP hasn't used people as pawns. For decades they've been using Christian Evangelicals to grow their base by catering to their right of center views. Trump has used the middle class from the rust belt and other economically challenged areas as well.
Another post showing liberal ignorance probably part of the NJ education. There is nothing in your post that refutes the reality that liberalism creates dependence and that the Biden/Harris agenda will require massive tax increases supported by Pelosi and Schumer and that takes money out of the people's pockets that cannot be spent in your community which impacts state and local revenue
What industries are we subsidizing? PPP is a loan that has to be paid back if conditions aren't met.
You continue to ignore the OP, the Biden/Harris agenda, and the Trump pre pandemic results that did indeed benefit you and your family. The naive one is you, spent 35 years in the private sector and seem to grasp basic civics better than you or anyone else on the left. Such passionate hatred of Trump by far too many diverting from actual issues. Trump is a New Yorker and that seems to be what you cannot understand, blunt and to the point, results oriented
Personal responsibility is at the core of almost everything including those who invested in a business to make a profit and take care of their family. Abuses occur in the private as well as the public sector, in the private sector you fail you lose, public sector you fail, keep your job and get bailed out
Your ad hominem attacks are always worth a chuckle; even better when your assumptions are incorrect. I was not educated in NJ. So how have you quantified what that impact will be based on what's been proposed? So you're positing that liberal policies as a whole somehow create dependence despite many industrialized nations having competitive economies in spite of their focus on social programs? Are these nations filled with dependent people? By your example, they should all be failures; why aren't they?
You aren't aware of this?
The OP was just a histrionics filled article. You keep stating I hate Trump, but please cite one instance where I've expressed anything even close to that. It seems your own poor judgement is at play here; one where you equate criticism of a person as "hate". This wouldn't surprise me given your penchant for myopic views.
That's not the case all around. If you're a small business you are subject to more of the catastrophic failure than larger industries. We've had a past of bailing out failing businesses to protect jobs; and/or financial systems.
Sorry if you believe this is a personal attack but getting rather tired of you ignoring the thread topic and continuing to ignore basic civics and personal responsibility. You buy rhetoric and ignore results. Your vote for Biden really isn't a vote for Biden because you cannot tell me what agenda items from Biden that you support, this is an anti Trump vote and the results would be Biden and an agenda you ignore
You keep referring to the "thread topic" which was just you linking to an opinion piece so loaded with histrionics there wasn't much to respond to except offering the author some Ambien. If you remember correctly, you were the one who brought up COVID 19 in your response to me. I told you I like Biden's attention to detail as it relates to his coiffure; which is all you need to know about why I am voting for Biden. Clearly everyone voting for someone other than Trump is an anti Trump vote, no?
As for an agenda item I really support it's Green energy. I want to drive a Tesla and be really green.
LOL, yep, as expected let's get another Solyndra, liberalism is all about histrionics and scare tactics, global warming, Covid 19 going to kill millions of Americans, Save us Democrats, save us!!
Trump said:They're coming for your suburbs
Trump said:No one will be safe in a Biden-run America
Trump said:We’ve got to stop these radical left maniacs
Biden has been in public service for over 45 years and accomplished what? What did he accomplish as Obama's VP? You don't get it and never will, typical liberal from NJ
Yep, by all means keep driving people out of your state and getting liberals in DC to bail out the inefficiencies of your state to replace those lost taxpayer revenue. You keep voting for the same ideology over and over again expecting different results, what does Einstein call that?
This is a comically daft position to take. To make the claim that any effort to make strides in green energy will result in a Solyndra situation is quite the defeatist position to take. Maybe everyone should just abandon every effort when something goes wrong. So much doom and gloom. The icing on the cake is the claim that liberalism is about histrionics and scare tactics given the messaging from the incumbent President's campaign:
Trump had no public service experience or accomplishments. That didn't seem to set off your "not qualified" alarm.
That's ok. We'll keep bailing out the poorer states in the union while we still can. When all of those transplants start gentrifying their new states, they can foot the bill. What's funny is your notion that any ideology or political party doesn't fail in some way. I've asked you numerous times to point out on conservative Utopia where that ideology has been so effective, people keep voting for it because they've managed make this said place an economic powerhouse free of societal ills. Can you name this place? Can you name an instance where this has happened?
You keep referring to the "thread topic" which was just you linking to an opinion piece so loaded with histrionics there wasn't much to respond to except offering the author some Ambien. Appears that no one is safe in liberal run cities which is why the police who aren't getting support from the ones who hired, funded and trained them are endorsing Trump. You live in that liberal bubble totally clueless as to what is going on all around you even in your own state as taxpayers continue to flee it.
Results don't matter to you as I am still waiting for someone who supports Biden to tell us exactly what a Biden administration success will look like?
No what he admitted to was not scaring the hell out of the American people, you call that a lie..................?
