The Arab Claims of Palestine

Palestine, as they know from the Koran and tradition, was the land in which Abraham lived, an extremely important ancestral figure for the Arabs. To possess the land which Abraham roamed, assumes great religious significance. Especially important in Arab eyes is to have control of Hebron, the town in which Abraham, together with most of his family, was buried. However they only learned about Hebron from Muhammad, a considerable time later after the Jews had already been conducting active worship at the tomb of Abraham for centuries.

You forgot to link your Post...

Also, please do not post the entire article. A brief content summary and your views would enhance your thread for debate.

Welcome to the board. We also have a guideline as well:
17. Starting a Thread: When starting a thread it is best to express your own thoughts in your own words. Threads w/o original content may be summarily closed.

It's fitting, fine, well, and good that the initial, thread-starting post (called the thread's Original Post- OP for short) quotes another person or document. References, particularly in matters of fact, are encouraged. But they are no substitute for your own thoughts in your own words.

Using your own words in your OP encourages participation. By starting the conversation with a contribution of your own time and effort, you show potential participants you are serious in your intention to engage in dialogue. It says that if they reply to your posts, you are likely to respond to theirs.

Of course, this is all dependent on you not being Sherry Shriner. If you are Ms. Shriner, please email a member of the Mod Team from one of your @lastdaysprophecies.com email addresses to verify your identity and we can discuss it further.
