What do you suppose is/was on the deleted USSS/DHS text messages? It would seem that whatever it was/is is worse than the blow-back that the missing messages have started. I am only semi-literate when it comes to modern communications. Is it possible to delete text messages without leaving a trace?

Probably, but they won’t acknowledge that or release what they do have.
It doesn't matter if they acknowledge it or not. The fact is, they do.

And it's not up to the NSA to decide to release it or not.
