Texas Just Keeps Getting More Awesome

Texas is awesome regardless if they make guns or not. Some of the best people and places I have been fortunate to see. ( outside of Houston of course )

so are you the guy with the sunglasses or on the drums?

I used to absolutely despise Texas because I had to drive across it twice. But I went to Galveston and Austin this year and man Austin is awesome. I even liked what little I saw of Houston. Galveston wasn't much to write home about though.

I'm not sure of what you are trying to get at...................so I will take a pass.

You Texans have a huge superiority complex, almost to the level of New Yorkers.

Austin is starting to remind me too much of Seattle. too many techies, not enough blue collars. San Antonio is more of my kind of Town.

I just like the river running through it, all the green and the rolling hills. And I'm actually a fan of humidity having grown up in thick humidity. Now living in New Mexico, I'm parched.

I talk crap about Houston, and mainly because I was always around the oil refinery districts hauling in parts and materials. I had a few run in's with street thugs who thought that I was supposed to let them have access to my truck, or give them my money.

Got a little tasty a few times. :)

Lie. The model S is still being built in California. Telsa opened a brand new LiIon battery complex in Nevada. So no, Tesla did not move out of California.

blah blah blah noise. Don't be so afraid of the truth.

California Economy Grows To 6th Largest In The World

The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis reported last month that California’s GDP was $2.5 trillion in 2015, up 4.1 percent from a year earlier.

When will you guys stop lying about how the sky is falling in California?

When will the liberal/socialist progressives stop hiding from the actual facts regarding California?

Highest supplemental poverty rate in the Nation.

The worst state to do business in the Nation.

Among the highest taxes and fees in the Nation.

The worst state in the Nation for economic equality

The list goes on an on.

All brought to it's citizens exclusively by liberal/socialist progressives.

CT will probably raise taxes on the people to cover the loss in revenue. Kalifornia does the same thing which is losing businesses to TX and NV. Leftists never learn.

as usual truth eludes you, more business is moving into cali than is moving out. your anti fact right wing fantasy is silly. you would be safe to assume that what ever you think the truth is just the opposite.

You're catching on. ;)

I remember back in the early to mid 60's, it seemed that a lot of people we knew migrated to California from Texas.

Welcome back.

you look less foolish if you do your homework.

Well, I wish I could offer some advice to help you do the same. But I got nothing.

Perhaps work on your punctuation. But I don't think that is going to help you too much.

The number of gun makers who have moved out of anti-gun states has gotten to be fairly large.

Connecticut is in no position to be turning up their noses at jobs, either, having fairly high unemployment.

Forbes Welcome

Seeing the thread title I was hoping texas legalized weed, but my hopes shattered again.

Is it OK to say Texas AND California are states that are doing well or are we supposed to take sides in this faux war?

Will Tesla Ever Make Money? - Bloomberg

Tesla HAS to stay in California. Musk exploits California's ridiculous cap and trade program to stay in business.

And yea, California is just a awesome place to live, if your rich

Well, California has a poverty crisis and a homeless crisis and thousands of Californian businesses have chosen to bail out and move to States like Texas.

Well, at least California has really high educational standards...

CT will probably raise taxes on the people to cover the loss in revenue. Kalifornia does the same thing which is losing businesses to TX and NV. Leftists never learn.

No...they really don't. Just stick their dicks in the sand and dig deeper.

Oh no, they will have to raise everyone's taxes by a couple of dollars.

It adds up to a lot more than that. Trickle Down Economy. It's true, you guys never learn!

One gun company leaving does not mean much.

Means a lot more than your myopic view of things, can calculate.

Drip, drip, drip. It all adds up. Kalifornia is a good example.

See how you people don't learn?

Yep. They don't learn.

Seeing the thread title I was hoping texas legalized weed, but my hopes shattered again.

Legalizing weed is as dumb as it gets.

We in Oregon are seeing a lot of extra criminal and traffic problems because of it. Spaced out dopers are crashing cars like never before. People growing dope are being robbed and murdered at an unprecedented rate, the court system is even more bogged down, as well as the overflow in jails.

There is nothing good that comes out of dope....except when the dopers OD!

Is it OK to say Texas AND California are states that are doing well or are we supposed to take sides in this faux war?

Naw...just deny like always.

I left California 38 years ago, sad at first, and depressed, but now....... happy that I did. My gun freedoms alone in Oregon, have been spectacular. My food is less, property is less, everything is less.....but we survive nicely. Screw the liberal Calif. politicians and all the other misfits.
