This I, also, don't approve of:

Filibuster – We support return to the traditional Filibuster in the U.S. Senate.

Ten Commandments – We oppose any governmental action to restrict, prohibit, or remove public display of the
Decalogue or other religious symbols.

Texas Sodomy Statutes – We oppose the legalization of sodomy. We demand that Congress exercise its authority
granted by the U.S. Constitution to withhold jurisdiction from the federal courts from cases involving sodomy.

Wow - this one kind of pisses me off - consider that sometimes a grandparent might want to sue for child-visitation for the grandkids but because they came out they'd be denied. . .

Child Support and Visitation – We support equity between responsible parents in child support, custody, and visitation
rights and costs, as well as the strengthening of laws designed to protect children from abuse. No parent/grandparent
should be denied court ordered visitation, because of jurisdictional disputes between states. We also believe that no
homosexual or any individual convicted of child abuse or molestation should have the right to custody or adoption of a
minor child, and that visitation with minor children by such persons should be prohibited but if ordered by the court limited
to supervised periods.

Laughable notes:
Page 6: "American English" - as opposed to Non-American English :mrgreen:

Hypocritical point: They support corporal punishment for children (spanking, etc - by parents OR non-parents) . . . but say they also claim to support "strong family values" - and so spanking's ok. . . but I can't give my husband a blow job?

LOL - yeah, I guess they have *exceptions* to the rule.

I noticed that they strongly support someone's right to own their own home and not be forced to give it over the the government - and they strongly advocate against unwarrented search and seizure . . . but what I do to my hubby under the sheets is a NO NO!

I do give the party kudos for wanting to ban red light cameras, but some of this is downright wacky to be a serious party platform.

I am a Texan, and I doubt we will get rid of strip clubs. The other thing about the Blow jobs are just rolf worthy. The Texas hard right is why Texas is a laughing stock in the political arena. Look at what the stupid people on the school broad on doing to our history books.
