Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Construction of a new Tesla factory in Shanghai began on Monday, the electric auto company's first plant outside the United States.

The 210-acre site in Shanghai's Lingang district, the center of China's auto industry, will produce Tesla Model 3s for the Chinese market by the end of 2019, CEO Elon Musk said at the ground-breaking ceremony.

I did not see how this plant is going to be financed. Will Tesla be getting the money from the Chinese government or through additional borrowing?

Who is paying for it is the most important thing here, and look at how UPI tells us nothing.

This should concern you.

Musk is a flim flam man. Just a tad better at it than Delorean. Like with John it probably won’t end well for Elon either.

I believe he has a big income stream from SpaceX launching satellites & provisioning the ISS. But he certainly has investors, I hope.

I did a little look and apparently the so-called journalists are letting Musk break ground here without explaining who is paying to build it.

Apparently they suck this much now.

I think he made beaucoup billions with PayPal. He can actully self finance, but if he uses stockholders he can multiply his options.

The gubmint hasn't told them what the rest of their narrative will be, yet. Russia bad, Assad bad, Qadaffi bad, Putin bad, China and anti China rhetoric might be China bad and nothing positive will make the MSM. Y'all don't need investigative reporting when the Gubmint willing to control the narrative.
