The ACA is simply a law, and like any other law, it can be repealed or amended by Congress at any time. It's a law that the majority of the American people don't want, never wanted, and was passed by a partisan Congress using dubious tactics. But wait, because, once young healthy adults discover that they are either liable for a hefty tax if they do buy insurance, or a penalty if they don't (which means no tax returns for many) they will flee the Democratic Party like rats from a sinking ship.

For now, enjoy your time in the sun because your Party is headed for an iceberg and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

You are right any law can be repealed by VOTES in both House and a signature by the President. That's how its done and we aren't going to change it for anybody.
There is only smooth sailing for the Democrats as the have they full force of law on their side. The T's are on the Titanic and steaming full steam ahead. It's just a matter of whether there will be any survivors or not.

The Tea Party has decided to shut down the government to force the Democrats to agree to kill ObamaCare or put if off for a year.

They refuse to allow the rest of the government to be funded until their demands are met.

They won't let Boehner bring a clean budget resolution to the House for a vote.

...even while the Senate has voted several times on the House' budget and said "NO".


The Tea Party is clearly legislative terrorists, holding our nation's funding hostage because they hate ObamaCare more than they love America.

They need to either let Boehner bring a clean bill for a vote, or sit down and shut up.

The Senate has voted on the House bill a zillion times.

They always vote to change it.

It NEVER survives as is.

However, the Senate bill would pass in the House...but Boehner won't let the House vote on it.

The GOP has opened the door. The Democrats should sit down at the negotiating table, smile and ask for everything they want -- repeal of Citizens United, tax hikes on the rich, military cuts, more regulation of industry.
