we can start with the stuff lib politicians use to buy the votes of their followers. and then look to the constitution to keep those functions that are clearly authorized

The very basic stuff yes back when it wasn't patriotic to do so but rather you would be called a freedom hater or some ****.

I would start by saying that almost every part of the federal Government is bloated. Just compare the salaries of Government worker to the private sector. They are nearly double. and what's more very few Federal workers are worth what they are paid and that goes for State Government too.

Every program cost too much to administer. Just look at "Cash for Clunkers."

Every one who bought a car got what about $4,500 to what $5,000. and yet it cost you and I $28,000 per car.

Why? Simple they chalked it up to administrative costs. Pure unadulterated waste is what i call it.

In the Stimulus plan L.A. got 111 million dollars to create jobs. Well they did one hell of a job. They created a grand total of 54 jobs, because it cost so much to administer it.

The job of the Congress is to oversee spending and watch out for waste fraud and abuse but they are the cause of so much of it it's not funny worth a damn.

I could reduce spending over night and create jobs in the process because I have had to make a payroll and operate a business within a budget.

Politicians for the most part have no sense of what it's like to have to maintain a level of efficiency and live within a budget.

And that's a sad fact.

People answering yes to the Sarah Palin question baffle me. I could see the argument before he became President, but now that President Obama has almost two years in office there is just no way she has more experience than him running a country.

Well he is probably about equal in sports to Bush, although Bush was best in baseball where Obama is best in basketball. But whether or not you agree with him, he has gained more experience than she could ever by actually having being president for almost two years.

Speaking of tenants I think I'll rent with an option to buy into the Tea Party later. They are bringing a lot of positive energy for conservatives into this coming election and really pissing off Democrats and libs. So they are doing something right. At the same time I am afraid they are going to become too defined and less spontaneous and devolve into a typical political entity. So I am in and out.
