Why didn't the guy being attacked fight back? When someone attacks you aren't you suppose to defend yourself instead of screaming police?
and what proof do you have that the guy who attacked is a leftist? The left in America hide behind a facade of non violence and tolerance but the truth is many on the left are intolerant of those who disagree with them. Some of the most violent intoleratnt hate mongers are on the left.
Not everyone has the gut-reaction to fight back. Odds are, if he did, he would have had his camera inserted elsewhere in the process. Why didn't the guy being attacked fight back? When someone attacks you aren't you suppose to defend yourself instead of screaming police?
My logic: why would a conservative attack another conservative? Since when do people from the Green Party or the Socialism Party show up and pick a fight? No proof, just an educated guess since tea partiers tend to be conservative.
Well - then I declare this single black attacking single white incident to be purely racist. What I don't understand is this dude was out numbered, he should have been pummeled then again your assumption of tea party members of being non the violent is correct as is should be. If the shoe was on the other foot well the tea party members at this protest would have been arrested and charged with a hate crime not to mention being crucified by the main stream media.
It could be that if we judge only from the video, or the assaulter just could be extremely misinformed and burned by the credit card companies. Although in my world simple assault will do.Well - then I declare this single black attacking single white incident to be purely racist.
I'm being sarcastic - sorry . .. should have used an icon.It could be that if we judge only from the video, or the assaulter just could be extremely misinformed and burned by the credit card companies. Although in my world simple assault will do.
Oh yeah - charges should be filed, absolutely.BTW if I was the judge, I would fine the assaulter 200 dollars plus any medical bills incurred by the victim , a public apology and a class in economics....that's all.
I agree but tempers will flair, these issues do get to peoples emotions..this wasn't a hate crime. My point being and kind of off topic but it seems today that we have to jail everyone who breaks the law, I don't think this should be so. This country has come to a point where we have overcrowded jails and prisons for incidents such as these as in the old days a slap or two would do from Uncle Sam.Oh yeah - charges should be filed, absolutely.
On all sides of the spectrums violence against political ideologies shouldn't be tolerated. People do have the right to voice their opinions.
i'm sorry, but there simply isn't an equivalency. the massive tea party protest in Washington? zero arrests, they even picked up their own trash. compare that to any large anti-war/anti-Bush rally of the past few years or the anti WTO riots.I agree - some liberals are the most violent when it comes to protests. . . and so are some right wingers. There are violent extremists on all sides.
not fighting back is smarter in that situation; so long as you can get in between the man and your wife. get him on video assaulting a non-violent protestor; and then put that video across America. Not everyone has the gut-reaction to fight back. Odds are, if he did, he would have had his camera inserted elsewhere in the process.
Although I am no fan of the so call Tea Party people I think this video would have been so much more enjoyable if the guy laid out the attacker. The guy did the smart thing: he resisted the urge to strike back. If he had struck back, the story we're reading would have been very different, as I said.
There's no reason to assume he is a coward or a *****. He might be a pretty tough guy, but with enough sense to realize the SMART thing to do was get it all on camera, call the law, and put the video out there for people to see.
He went to the man that hit him where he sat in his car, and on film asked him what was up, told him he was going to call the law, etc.... that took either balls or stupidity, the guy had already demonstrated a willingness to use violence.
Yea, I saw that on MSNBC or was it on CNN? Oh, that's right......they probably never covered it since it wasn't an "angry mob" from the right. I must have seen it on Fox. Did the left media cover the attack on the tea party?BTW did anyone see the video of Nancy Pelosi being shouted down by liberals recently. In fact thay were throwing things at her. Security asked her to leave because the libs were getting violent. They are turning on there own. I love this. Libs acting violently one of the most liberal Congress member.
You saw it on Fox. they report you decide. We are almost neighbors Weatherford.Yea, I saw that on MSNBC or was it on CNN? Oh, that's right......they probably never covered it since it wasn't an "angry mob" from the right. I must have seen it on Fox. Did the left media cover the attack on the tea party?
