Taps for a friend..

Monday we buried a good friend and fellow veteran, 73 years old, former Colonel in USAF, died suddenly of a stroke. He gave 28 years of service to his country.
As always, the hard part for me is when they play Taps....

But he lived well, lots of kids and grandkids, and even 7 great grandkids.
He will be missed by his family, of course, but also our community. He was involved in everything, always busy. I hope God has work for him to do in the hereafter. He wouldn't like just sitting around, has to be up and about, doing something constructive.
