Talent up in Missouri, Allen up in Virginia (1 Viewer)

You do know Zogby is way out of line with other respectable polls don't you? I prefer to look at all the polls and draw a conclusion, most show Talent behind by a couple of points (within the MOE). I stopped paying attention to Zogby about a month ago.

This is great news for the GOP............Barring any more lies by the dems I think you will see the incumbents whether they be Demorcrat or Republican pull away as the elction grows closer.....

I watched the Dewine/Brown debate on CSPAN and Dewine cleaned his clock...........There was one particular point where Brown was knocking Dewine's voting record on about 10 different issues.......When it came time for a rebuttal Dewine said I could not have voted on those issues one way or the other....At the time the votes were take I was the Attorney General of Ohio.......

It brought the house down.....

I think it looks more and more like the dems don't have a snowball's chance in hell of taking back the senate........

Of course you have. It doesn't present what you want to see. I'm hoping other dems aren't paying attention.

Here's an interesting article about what pollsters were accurate in the '04 election.
What happens to the pollster comparisons if we switch to the spread method? Both of the automated pollsters still beat Gallup. Head to head, SurveyUSA missed the spreads by an average of 2.3 points; Gallup missed by an average of 5.4. Rasmussen cleaned Gallup's clock, missing the spreads by an average of 1.6 points compared to Gallup's 6.2. Rasmussen also whipped Zogby, erring by 1.0 points compared to Zogby's 3.2. But the contest between SurveyUSA and Zogby was tighter: The human pollster was off by an average of 3.6 points, compared to the robo-pollster's 2.5.

Baaahhh, all I know is.............polls are for sheep.;)

Finally, some good news! Santourum's and DeWine's numbers are getting better too! I'm kinda fond of DeWin

As of today...

Jim Talent leads in Missouri over McKaskill.
George Allen leads in Virginia over Webb.

Is Richard Nixon leading in California?

Is Arnold Schwartzeneggar going to run for President?

Is heroin being legalized in Texas?

Are pigs flying?

Is Ted Haggard a straight guy?

Did scientists discover a way to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear?

Will there be a merger between Newmax and Truthout?

Does Tom Foley like girls?

Is Jim Talent still in the lead?

Is George Allen still in the lead?

These are questions people are dying to know. Please enlighten us.

If you had taken one more second to see when this thread began, smartass, you'd be armed with enough common knowledge to understand that it was, indeed, a true statement at the time.

Dan, if you don't mind my saying so - and even if you do - living your life entirely around this internet forum ... ie, starting dozens of threads per day, stroking your own ego when no one else will, and trying desperately to put others down...is making you a sad lonely old liberal....even though you deny that you are.

How is this for some 'enlightenment'?: Friendliness is so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Try it.

CurrentAffairs - 12.62 posts per day

Do we have a sad lonely old conservative?

Because I have been here only 3 weeks, Einstein. Do the math. And my remark was based on threads started, not posts. Keep researching and you might see something entirely different, Sparky. He has over 20 pages of achived threads that he alone started. Thousands and thousands of posts.

Besides, he attcked (as usual) and I rebutted. You bothered to chime in because....?

Dan, what does this gibberish mean? On the contrary, not very many of my candidate were elected at all, as I have humbly acknoweledged since the elections. You'll need to find someone else to gloat at and show your poor winner behavior to.

Now, care to respond to this:

Oh come on. You were so sure of yourself, and your candidates too. And now?

Actually, I didn't comment at all. The link did. Look at post # 1 and you won't find any editorial remarks from me. All it says is: "As of today", which was October 19th. Danno, say it with me.......the thread was a snapshot of that moment, that day. I'm certain you're smarter than this. Your sore winning is showing, Sparky....because you are a Democrat, aren't you. You've shown your true colors today, Dan...even though you've been too ashamed to admit it all this time.

Quit being a turd!

Didn't see an attack. Looked like he was having some fun with pre-election polls being wrong. Any conservative ever mention the exit polls in 2004?

Because I can. That OK with you?
(LOL...your whole forum history is based on 'chiming in'... )

Got another question.
Aren't you the one always griping about people here needing to quit acting childish and growup?
But yet you have the schoolboy habit of calling people names:
"smartass"(twice)
"sad lonely old liberal"
"Einstein"
"Sparky"(also twice, not sure what this really means though???)
"Quit being a turd"

Hey look, I can do it too.
Forsythe Pendleton Jones......:2rofll:

I don't know why, but this reminds me of what this woman said to my superintendent, who thought he was a ladies man.
'There's already one assh*le in these pants, I don't need another...LOL

LOL. Good one. Theres another theory on him too. Its called "He who smelt it dealt it". LOL.

Regardless of the polls on October 19th, McCaskill still went on to win Missouri, so continuing this thread is really pointless. Oh yeah, you're still here because you wish to bait others and show that you can't win with dignity. Okay, you boys have fun.
