Freegin' Switzerland. Must've took seeing internal dissention within the Russian MP's. Not quite at full sanctions yet.

The government said Friday that financial “intermediaries” in Switzerland were now banned from starting new business relationships with 363 Russian people and four Russian companies. Any existing business must be reported to the Swiss economic affairs secretariat. Further steps are under consideration.

The most amazing book can probably be written about who did what behind the scenes on all this coordination that we currently don't see.

I guess there isn't much Russian gold.

Hehe aside, I am increasingly beginning to hope that this was a strategic calculation that finally turns enough of Russia against Putin to end him. The replacement(s) might not be better, but we don't know that. If they're worse, well, we'll still have to deal with it. But if it's over the war, I doubt they'll be worse in ways that matter to us. (That is, it'll probably be wealth-extracting assholes.... but not necessarily murderous instigators)

Wow, that's basically unprecedented.

This increasingly looks like a major Russian blunder in light of unified Europe & America. But, if the guy who said he trusted Putin over our intelligence agencies were in office instead of Biden. . . .

Yeah, that. He'd probably be saying that Putin told him that Ukrainians were burning Russian soldiers alive, and he thinks extermination of many people would show that Putin is "tough". Some sort of asslicking, I dunno.
